  1. The point I was making was that those who voiced criticism of lockdowns were censored, in the name of the fight against "conspiracy theories" or "disinformation". Therefore, it is notable when those who were at the helm of this censorship end up de facto admitting that the people they censored were actually right. Mark Zuckerberg Says Facebook Censored ‘True’ Covid Claims at Request of Health Establishment Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook parent company Meta, said in a recent interview that the scientific “establishment” asked the social media site to censor “misinformation” related to Covid-19 that ultimately turned out to be true. https://www.nationalreview.com/news/mark-zuckerberg-says-facebook-censored-true-covid-claims-at-request-of-health-establishment/
  2. For every link I would post, there would be 10 "fact checks" or Wikipedia entries asserting why it is crazy conspiracy. As you very rightly said in your previous post, censorship is always for good reason… Good reason usually decided unilaterally in a top-down manner. The same "good reason" which censored criticism of school closures or concerns that Astrazeneca vaccines can cause blood clots.
  3. It says they should have listened to this: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-school-districts-reopen-coronavirus-pandemic-terrible-decision/
  4. We have now established that the prerequisite is not to be a doctor and/or scientist, but to be a doctor and/or scientist who says the things which will not get them censored.
  5. I agree. I can provide you with numerous statements by specialists, in the fields of infectious diseases, virology and vaccine development, who have negative views on the Covid response. They have been censored for four years and their views were never taken into account. What is your take on that?
  6. This exchange began with your claim that Trump supporters are cultists who will blindly obey anything he says. I presented you with an insurmountable contradiction, which put you in a binary position: acknowledge the opposing party has made a point, or deflect. I expected you to deflect and you did not disappoint. However, as you are smart, you will undoubtedly take this into account and cease to make this claim going forward.
  7. So according to your rationale, being a doctor and/or scientist is the prerequesite to make claims on this issue?
  8. You haven't answered the question.
  9. Well no, that is the point I am making. Those of us who consistently argued that school closures were doing more harm than good were called crazy conspiracy theorists at the time, but now that it is officially confirmed that we were right, a bit of intellectual honesty would be appreciated (though I will not hold my breath).
  10. Trump repeatedly publicly endorsed the Covid vaccine and yet I did not take it. How do you explain that?
  11. According to Fauci, he was right about this: https://edition.cnn.com/2020/07/08/politics/donald-trump-teachers-school-coronavirus/index.html
  12. Thanks for the compliment, although I can't stand Alex Jones. Here you go: Dr. Anthony Fauci admits keeping schools closed during COVID pandemic ‘not a good idea’ https://torontosun.com/news/world/dr-anthony-fauci-admits-keeping-school-closed-during-covid-pandemic-not-a-good-idea
  13. That's the interview where Fauci finally admits that closing schools for a year during Covid was a mistake. It only took Mister I Am The Science 4 years to admit that 'conspiracy theorists' (and Trump) were right.
  14. There are brilliant transliterations in this thread… Cow Car Moo, Pad Gapow Guy, My Pet… Nice one.
  15. Your inability to explain your rationale is duly noted.
  16. A friendly reminder from 2021, about what our 'democracies' implemented: Countries making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/countries-making-covid-19-vaccines-mandatory-2021-08-16/
  17. "At the speed of science", a.k.a. "making stuff up as we go along".
  18. Wise words. I have been on the receiving end of innumerable insults on this forum for being a Trump supporter and an antivaxxer. My number one principle is never to reciprocate. You got the answer to your question, at least as far as I am concerned: I can only laugh at what I see as an incredibly absurd situation (on a general scale and, again, not a personal attack) and I suspect that is the case for several others. It is true, though, that lots of unvaccinated people feel resentful and can only snigger cynically when they encounter what they see as evidence that they were right, or when they hear calls to "forget about it and move on" when they were literally treated as a threat to society (with the very harmful personal consequences it entails) just three years ago…
  19. Many are assuming the OP is talking about himself. Nothing indicates that.
  20. Yes, that is what I meant by "as are the rationalisations on the purported effectiveness of this vaccine".
  21. I doubt anyone was laughing at you being sick. You stated that you have been vaccinated five times against an illness, and then that you caught said illness and suffered from it severely nonetheless. Then you added a further message stating your intention to have a sixth shot for good measure. Nothing personal, but this approach is so utterly absurd – as are the rationalisations on the purported effectiveness of this vaccine – that it is likely to elicit laughter.
  22. Based on the information provided in this thread, what is the notable difference between you and those 20 people?
  23. Early 30s to early 70s. Common denominator: overall reasonably healthy.
