  1. No its not. Maybe read it properly, bags were snatched containing documents, money and phones. Happened to me once, I went home early as I had no passport and phone, totally ruined my holiday. Having a certain amount of drugs in some countries carries the death sentence, what do you think about that?
  2. That is going to be the worst hangover ever, don't understand people who drink and drive in Pattaya, taxis are so cheap and available 24/7.
  3. You don't see my point? You have no idea what happened in that car as you admitted yourself. I was just pointing out the pure generalization of the post I was replying to, avoid Phuket and all Taxi drivers are criminals, what part of that don't you see understand?
  4. Are you for real? I don't believe that's the full story told. A lot of Taxi journeys by app are hit and miss. 1000 perfect journeys and 1 bad one doesn't make every Taxi driver a criminal.
  5. Totally agree. Been coming to Thailand 20 years, and only African males have been offering me drugs and ladies of the night from Africa around that area. if it was Chinese men with big noses doing it I would say the same. The identifier of the majority of foreign men doing it is black males from Africa. It's NOT a racist comment, get a dictionary and look up the word
  6. More likely to die in a Taxi from the airport to the hotel. How many mass shootings in Thailand? I remember only this one and the one in Korat in the last 10 years.
  7. My Daughter born in Thailand has a UK and Thai passport, will she need a letter of consent to travel to the UK? If so, where do I get this letter? Thanks in advance.
  8. Obviously alcohol fueled, my neighbour plays Morlum music at 7am, I tolerate it,and would never dream of going around there and killing her. Obviously the Thai lost his temper and is now going to jail. Good luck.
  9. The quote you posted on your reply, from my OP, was a copy paste from the UK Thai Embassy website, I was just showing conflicting number of days on the UK Gov website and The Thai Embassy website, it's nothing to do with me, I am going for 4-5 weeks, thanks for the reply though. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/page/84498-faq?menu=5d6636ce15e39c3bd0007350
  10. Thank you kind Sir, I am flying before then, so 45 days it is. Thanks.
  11. London Thai Embassy website says 30 days, Uk Gov website says 45..please someone help me! 1. I would like to go to Thailand for vacation for 2 weeks. I hold British passport. Do I need a visa? Nationals of the United Kingdom and over 40 other countries are eligible to travel to Thailand, for tourism purpose, with the exemption of visa and are permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 30 days. Therefore, you do not need a visa. Visas British passport holders arriving by air or land can enter Thailand for 45 days without a visa (a ‘visa exemption’).
  12. Me thinks he had a Thai massge expert in the room, when he went for his shower she made off with the loot, his story smells like a rat. Lesson learned maybe ????
  13. I bet he got really drunk and went skinny dipping with a bar girl, and got his stuff nicked, happened to a friend of mine.
