Your tarring a lot of Doctors with one brush stroke could you at least be a bit more specific, we don't need a long story. Maybe just what difficulty with what department would help don't you think.

I found with most outside wood furniture it was best to soak the lower 2 or 3 inches anti termite and ant solution and then just the occasional shot of spray on the feet or legs of the table or chairs will keep it bug free for years.

Yes Crossy that was the one I meant. as mentioned very many around and most are visible from the road. So good luck to the OP, good hunting.

Again thank you all for your help. I do have and use a BP cuff and oxygen, pulse gizmo. My now 92 year old Dad told me a few years ago. Old age isn't for sissies. It may have not been PC but I sure got his drift ala the perseverance necessary to cope with the GOLDEN YEARS 555

Thank you all for all your input. Much appreciated.

I will have to check on my urine to see if the bacteria comes back and how quickly. To see if I am using the wrong drug or not using it for long enough. I do do that double voiding at night time. Thing are slightly better. Best of all the pressure and slight burning are gone although pop up occasionally. But am for the most part able to pee freely, if often. Getting back to home country is not an option. So will purse all option here finding a urologist for consult. And try all non invasive options first. Thank you I value your responses.

I will consult on the follow up appointment in Sept about raising the dosage of the Dox But I am still just in the first couple of week at the new dosage now so will let this reach its levels. Thank you very much for your personal info that is very beneficial for me to have it from the horse's mouth so to speak.
by the way haven't had to have a catheter .
Thank you
Xylophone thanks for your input as well I was only too aware of the cipro cause it cause me quite a problem with a achilles tendon flare up very nasty like you said in N america black box warning for older men.
Thank you all for your quick and informative responses. I will be sure to update the progress as it happens. Randell

BK6060 I do understand this but thanks for input. I am not rushing it just slowly laying the foundation to what may be necessary in the future if treatments current and future don't pan out. Being up in Chiang Rai put quite a limit on options so important to do the groundwork.
thanks again.

Hi Sheryl and Uncle P I am already on Doxazosin 4 mgs and Finasteride 5 mgs. . As for the bad use of english word bile. I was just wondering if that was what kept the infection coming back twice inow within 12 months . I am just not sure I am emptying my bladder fully. Next visit will get another PSA done. Will pursue a urologist. I am not eager for surgery and am trying as much as I can but the quality of life sure goes down hill when this flares up. Thank you

Never mind the other Papa they obviously have never mislaid or lost anything in there lives before . Just wait till they grow up.

Hi there first let me state that my finances and pension will only be able to handle Government hospitals.
My situation is, I had a bad bout actually my second bad bout of urinary infection. To the point that a rather long more than two week course of Augmentin 3000 mg per day to suprest it. That gave me relief from debilitating pain and pressure from not being able to pass water and when possible just dribbles. Now am on 4 mgs nightly along with with 5 mg Finasteride. Peeing now pain free but all not normal, but have a follow up in October 21. But I think the bladder is already starting to percolate again nothing major but familiar sensations. What I think is happening is my bladder is not emptying fully therefore ending up with some extra bile in there at all time and finally infection again. I am going to ask that some ultrasound or something be done to check condition of bladder. But I am kind of resigned to the fact that I will need surgery due to my age 69 70 april. What kind of options do I have for surgery up here in Chiang Rai and what possible costs are involved. I am very careful of keeping my fluid levels up by drink lots of water no alcohol and a a good village Thai diet heavy on the veg.

Just a thought but replacing the fob will be far more expensive than replacing keys.

Well done Transam . That's what you get when you've taken care of your bikes and price them reasonably, fantastic result.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Dead sticks planted seem to grow after a while. Here out side of Chiang Rai they dug up and moved an auspicious tree to the grounds of a local holy spot and a year later it is thriving and budding fully.

Thanks guys for your input.
Vocal Neil I will try and check out some of the racing shops for the proper extensions. Even though racing is so very far away from what I am trying to achieve.
Papa Al I have already changed the seat quite a bit more bench like and with a bit more wheel behind me I could sit somewhat in the pillion area. I am really just trying to unkink my old legs. and keep from wheelies.55
Kwasaki I was hoping to find extensions like they make for many bike that just slide into the end of the swing arm andbolt into place or are welded into place then the only other thing is a longer brake line. again I am not trying to get a racer out of it just accomodate my rather over large frame 190 cm tall and 120 kgs fat. Just to prevent premature wheelying 555. And $ is a big factor or the lack of it I should say.. I am very happy with the performance of my 150 it does all I need I am just trying to make more comfortable on my 69 year old body,
so thanks again guys for you contributions. If and when I do this I will post a photo or two.

Hi guys I require you advise. I have a 2014 Cbr 150 r which my now deceased wife gave me. I have no desire to buy a new bike and quite frankly can't really afford to. I have already raised the seat to more of a bench type and put Phantom handlebar risers on and a motocross style set of bars. All this to give me a better riding position. Which it has done but I am finding I would really like to be sitting further back. The problem besides comfort is making the front end a bit unsafely light. So that bring me to my question if I was able to find or have made some extensions for the swing arm lets say 4 inches and a new brake line am would I doing something I shouldn't . I only see online extension for biker bikes than mine but I think there must be some available. I would really just like to be able to ride in a more sit up and beg position and unkink my legs a bit. What do you all think thanks in advance this forum has always come through for me before and for a very non mechanical person has been invaluable..

Great information. Not for me personally (a Canadian) but for the many other I have heard bemoan the lack of choice d of shipping to the Uk over the years. Good luck to you both. You just might find yourself with some new customers.Good luck to all

I think you were being sarcastic and not serious I hope. But good luck with finding a BB gun or pellet pistol of any sort other than kids toys airsoft guns. I have looked high and low when I wanted to deal with a pesky pigeon problem. The only air gun I have come across are the home made ones that shoot ball bearings wildly inaccurate but I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of those thats for sure. If you do find one please PM me

Dengue Fever
in Chiang Rai
Posted
I concur with Shot about not being able to bring up the post I also read about Dengue but there was quite a few some months ago. And you right Scea those are the little beggars that carry it black and white striped thorax and body and quite small compared with the bigger sundown and evening ones. Mostly around in the day time. I have been finding them a bit more lately myself. What I do is anytime I go out plug in one of those units that take the small paper bug spray coated rectangular wafers I suppose it much the same as giving the rooms a shot of spray . But I find it leaves less lingering smell. and even though we have been having so nice refreshing breezes keeping all the screens closed. and when I do start finding them do a thorough check of the yard and garden for any containers or tires that the brother in law have left about.
