Sounds good. Where do I start looking?

What's the usual requirement to be a lecturer at a University in BKK? The English speaking ones like ABAC.

What time do fights begin?

Where to watch a big Muay Thai fight? And on what day?

Any shops in MBK sell the latest Xbox 360 original games? Or any other places perhaps?
-
Cool stuff. Going to check out the Ekkamai one tommorow. What are the prices like?

Anybody know one?

I am into Japanese mature women (30+) who sings classic English songs such as Somewhere Over the Rainbow, etc. I like the relaxing jazzy type ones. I can never recall any of them however. Anybody know some good ones?

Where to buy some cloth art of temples, villages, rivers, etc to be used for door curtains, wall hanging, room dividing and such? Examples:

I haven't done this before here, used to do it back home and made okay but it seemed too much work for small profit margins because Ebay was taking listing fees and then Paypal. I heard there are too many people doing it from here last I checked. Not talking about counterfeit goods here, but rather small unique market style items perhaps. Would there also be other issues such as shipping, legal, etc? How's the scene here for that now?

I always see these little shop lots with girls sitting outside with the shiny neon lights. My friend told me they are karaoke joints, where a girl accompanies you. I asked her how much, and she said be prepared to spend around 4-5k BHT. I said no way because it doesn't seem to be areas frequented by foreigners and most of the time these places aren't in high class areas so I doubt any local would want to pay that kind of money for some drinks and just company. So what's the deal with these places?

Ok, I found it at this shop called iBeat at fortune mall. Seems to be some branch of iStudio. iStudio had it as well but was slightly more expensive. It's only 1.9k. Cheers peeps!
-
That looks expensive. I am actually looking for something under 3k BHT. The altec lansing one in the first link I provided will suit perfectly if I can find it. It's not really a dock but I think it will make a nice gift. I'm going to check if the iStudios have it. Anybody seen that around?

I am looking to buy a speaker dock for a friend. She's got an iPod Touch.

The altec lansing one looks really cool and portable, $40 only too. Would be good if I can find that one preferably. Where can I buy these docks in BKK?

I just got some for 80 BHT. Do any places go lower than that? 70 perhaps?

What's the usual price for a DVD at a road stall? At Silom let's say. After negotiations?
-
I am looking for a bar, where I can smoke, have classy music (jazz/piano), not too noisy, great environment. Outdoor preferably, with a nice view. Reasonably priced.
-
Don't think you are asking too much. I've seen a few places that suits your criteria. My place is like what you have mentioned, less the kitchen area and pool. Very decent restaurant downstairs too that have room delivery without extra charge. It's 40 SQM, I pay around 8.5k including utilities, wifi internet, and about 10-15 minutes walk to MRT. You should be able to find it with some scouting.

What kind of 1 bed room condo can one expect with 1m BHT? Something decent, new and modern perhaps?
-

Can a foreigner buy a condo unit on a tourist visa and without fixed income? Let's say I got about 1m BHT and I would like to buy a 1 bed room condo which is 2m, will I be able to? I have income, but it's not from within Thailand and it's not fixed. Or must I pay for the entire thing right away?
Also in this situation, will it be better to buy or rent? I feel like I'm wasting all that money paying for rent all the time. Why not buy a unit instead, seems like it's pretty cheap at this point.

Yeah I can also do with backpacker style shared dorms. What's the area full of these?

Go to Eakamai Bus Station, its on the Sky Train route,I think they leave about every half hour, comfortable ,AC, costs about 120BHT.Way to go ,safer than a cab takes about 1 1/2 hrs.terminates at North Station, then get bht bus into town 20 bht.
What time do they depart back from Pattaya to BKK? I am thinking of just making a day trip.

Blue bus? From where?

I've got a Citibank credit card from back home. Can I go over the counter here and get some sort of cash advance? I don't remember the ATM pin or anything like that.
