its hard to say, there are are internet shops as you know, i don.t think there are that many near walking st, good ones anyway

buying a bar is the easy part, the problem is the bar doing well enough for you to live on the profits.

personally i don't think its worth opening new gogo bars in pattaya, beer bars are the simplest but to get a good one in a good location is expensive and then of course you need girls to put in it.

it all depends what you want from the bar, i mean will it be your only source of income?

i don't know what the embassy in the uk will want but i think a genuine letter from the thai co should do it.

work permits in pattaya are issued from chon buri, i don,t know whether you will have problems getting one or not it depends what job description or position you will have.

if its a legit thai co then surely they will take care of the permit. if they are not supplying you with one i'd look into it as maybe you won't be able to get one.

with a non imm b visa you will probably get 3 months at a time but you won't have to leave thailand (if you have a work permit), i have a 1 year non imm b visa, on the permit i'm down as managing director, with musicians for example they would never give one year straight. otherwise as with the 90 day thing you only need to go to immagration and sign yor name and inform them of your address.

came here met a thai girl, fell in love, went back to england, worked for 5 weeks, came back to los, spent a week in bangkok shagging everything that moved (as you do) came back to pattaya, got rid of the girl after 1 week, (yes i got stitched up by her) drank myself silly for 3 months, sold the flat in essex and luckily bought into a bar.

2 and a bit years later, grown up a bit (although my wife does'nt think so) married, successful business, good business partnership and overall very happy.

never tried it in sf or la but theres 2 mexican places in pattaya but there are average.

unfotunatley all the girls in living dolls are under kens influence, what i mean by that is some i know take customers in there to see ken to sort of get his seal of approval, whether this is a good or a bad thing i don't know.

kens always been fine with me and my wife and he has two successful bars.

the guys right about some right scumbags in pattaya, unfortunatly most of them are from the uk.

they have some nice stuff although expensive, but they **** around with the cars to much, adding bits and new interiors etc, not the best quality, buyer beware!

i know ken very well, all i can guess is this stupid kid took the piss in one way or another.

it was my partners car, from a place called top gear in pattaya, souped up a bit (280bhp) but it was the 205 version. not good on pattayas bumpy roads though.

i miss the real tesco's, 24 hr gallows corner, romford essex, 1 time it was voted busiest in the uk.

thats the tollway way from chonburi to bang na, i've done it at 250km in a celica gt4. the road from pattaya to the tollway is crap.
