although young myself, i disagree, having watched the blues factory grow over the past 30 months, it does'nt cater for everybody but then who does, if people want girls etc, then there are many gogo bars, if people want live music in an atmosphere that is fun and discreet then that is the goal of the blues factory, and it works.

i like gogos, but i also like having an enviroment that is comfortable for couples young or old, including my mum who loved it.

also blues music is something else when played well.

i'm not an expert but from what i know if your gf still works but wants to stay home etc, unless you have a special arrangement with the owner then yes she will have to pay bar.

i think they are fair coments and i agree with most of them.

i stayed in last night but i just spoke to my manager and we closed normal time, just after 2am,

the bar fines only go to the club or bar, as stated before the girl/boy will get a part of it as bonus (100 bht from a 500 bht fine)

once the girl/boy is away from the bar then their fee is between you and them, normally 1000-1500 for all night (showgirls may not go for less than 2000 bht all night) short time 500 bht - 1000 bht.

alot of gogos have a rule that if a customer likes the boy/girl and wants to pay bar, the girl/boy has to go, even if they are big ,small, bald, hairy, ugly or whatever, ( a bit unfair i think)

sorry mate i'm a bit pissed i did'nt know the embassy charged that.

when we went back to the uk 18 months back she got a standard 1 month tourist visa valid for 6 months.

as i've heard now, because i'm now married, a friend told me, they would only give his wife a settlement visa.

i'm also confused now as when we go to england next month it would only be for 2-3 weeks as i live in pattaya now, as far as i'm concerned she does'nt need a settlement visa.

from what you've stated its sounds like you have enough for a successful application. (don't hold me to that because some of the brits in the embassy are a bit rude, and will make your partner feel like s**t, (but if they think its valid they will give it, after all its they're job, they will just try to test your relationship, if you've both got nothing to hide then you've both got nothing to be caught out on. good luck mate.
