  1. waking up, relaxing at home, checking email etc playing with the dogs fixing bikes and truck, go out on the bike in the country, getting some shopping, going home play with the wife, go to work at 930pm, do the accounts, have a good drink, go home at about 3am after eating excellent thai food.

being able to afford to go to any restaurant or bar in pattaya and not worry about cost, unlike london.(except tonys disco, shithole)

    wake up, same again

(although being out everynight is a pain in the arse) but i would'nt change a thing, i love it here :o

  2. yes i see it everyday and as i,ve said in previous posts it would be a good idea to keep certain areas set aside for that type of thing, i have a bar in walking st and i think it would be great if families could come to walking st and enjoy themselves.

people say pattaya is the sex resort, personally i hate that because pattaya needs to clean up and become a tourist destination for everybody, also people say keep pattaya sleezy and let people go elsewhere for beaches etc, rubbish all that needs to be done is, ok keep pattayaland and soi 6 etc for sex etc and theres no harm in the go go bars remaining in walking st, but take it out of the public view.

what is a pervert? if its looking at the go go girls etc then yes i am, but if its touching girls up, looking a kids etc then kick the f****rs out of thailand, we don't need them and they certainly are'nt welcome in my place.

don,t believe what you hear, pattaya is a great place

    cheers :o

  3. Coming to live in Pattaya/Jomtien very soon and this topic has provided a lot of insight into a plethora of opinions/attitudes...for the most part a healthy give and take.

I support the volunteer efforts not only to demonstrate that we (farangs) want to be part of a solution but also that we do so with good conscience and intentions...AND I use the word "WE" for a reason. I would hope that all that make the personal decision to serve in this "volunteer" role understand that they, whether they like it or not, are looked at as representatives and as such will be fair game from BOTH sides.

I also don't believe that the 'volunteers' have any business engaging in "undercover-work"...would have no problems in pointing them out.

    Some personal notes....

I have no problems with 'adult' vendors and peddlers but the children (some cannot be over the age of 8) selling gum, shoe shine, and flowers after midnight cause my guts to churn.

I don't like the trash that accumulates on beach road...run them back to Boyz town or what ever slime they have crawled out of...this includes the Ex-BG's that hang-out on the beach...if they are in business there are plenty of bars to work...why the beach?

I believe that Pattaya can accommodate a variety of life styles and in a safe environment...got to love Thailand...just hope that all is done with a better than average amount of 'common sense'.

my thoughts exactly, pattaya is big enough for the families, funmakers and perverts

  4. I guess I should consider myself lucky compared to some of the stories Iv'e seen and heard. Imet an up country girl that doesn't smoke nor drinks. After 1 & 1/2 years we got married. turned out to be one of the better decisions I ever made. she's a very good mother to our 2 children and an excellent wife. plus, she's not stupid with money. my wife never worked in a bar but from what I've heard, once a bar girl, always a bar girl. beware!

same i have a wonderful marriage and friendship with my wife, ok she never gives me my change when she takes money, and she worked in a bar before.

BUT i should mention that she has saved up 35000 bht in her bank incase we have money troubles.

i consider myself very lucky indeed.

  5. yohan

i agree with your last post, but the reason i commented on the bonus is that in the original post winle was talking about his girlfriend, ok she worked in a bar before but after 6 months with him i suppose you could call her girlfriend.

    britmaveric

if we are talking about the scamming side of things then agreed, they are so good at acting dumb.

  6. I do not think, Winle is a cheap Charlie....

He pays a fair market price for his bar-girl.....

and maybe, if your girl is really nice, give her baht 500,- bonus at the end of the month.

If the girl complains... ok, let her complain... no need to listen at all....

    ---------

    yohan

    you pay the market price!

whats the bonus for?, doing a good job of running around after you and obeying your every command.

i know girls who don't like being treated like cattle and they openly discuss things with me and even how sometimes they've had enough and taken some money to enable themselves to start again with rooms etc,

some farangs i've met who treat the girls like this and think it's fair deserve a bit of payback. som nam na

    britmaverick

i know bar girls as friends and i've had bar girls employed by myself in my bar, you would be surprised how they can use a pc and how educated they are

not all of them have the chance to work in factorys etc as they've got family's to look after and the pay is'nt enough.

before i get fired down i also know girls who are f***ing machines and admit it, they live well and provide their families well and they happen to be nice people also.

  7. :o I,m well known for blowing my own trumpet and i play with my organ every day!

    When do I start ?

the band leader needs to inspect your organ and blowing technique first :D

  8. let them have their fun

what about when it affects the people who don't want to be part of it

the f***ing arabs piss me off, ok on songkran day everybody goes mad but on other days these wa****rs soak people trying to work, children and old people.

last year on songkran day 2 arabs on walking st drove up on a big bike and threatned a thai boy who was about to spray them, he looked at the arabs and completely soaked them, it was great, then they tried to get tough and got soaked by every thai around (including us), w****rs som nam na

  9. You go out twice a month?  And you provide rabbit food.  Yes, cheap Charlie it is!  :o

no disrespect but it sounds a bit cheap.

why do you mention bananas in the fridge?

how old are you both?, maybe she's a bit fed up and wants to go out a bit more, twice a month, she must be a bit bored staying home.

what about her seeing friends, buying clothes and taking care of her family.
