agree a price first, ypu need to go to bang phe which is about 10 minutes on from rayong, (just over an hour from pattaya)

i'm not sure how much, pattaya is normally about 1800 baht so between 2500 and 3000 bht would be ok.

when you get to bang phe you take the koh samet ferry for under 100 bht

i got done when i first came here,

Anyway, a word of advice. Never ever underestimate the risk that she may be 2-timing you.

In fact, my experience of the girls hanging around tourists in general (Before I got a steady girlfriend I used to do a fair bit of translating e-mails for some of these girls, would never consider getting involved though), is that a lot of them run a few "boyfriends" at a time.

Since many farang bounce in and out of the country, this is an easy thing to do. They will not always be after money, in these younger circles there is a certain status attached to having a good-looking and nicely tanned farang backpacker to show off to friends.

Some girls will be on the lookout for a man to marry, but generally not at age 20, unless she sees you at a possible ticket to the west.

Have you actually met her family, or is she the one who has told you that they don't mind? I don't want to make you paranoid, but you should try to verify things for yourself... Better safe than sorry.

Today, I went to have a swim. There was a young muscular guy by the shower of the swimming pool and he sneered dramatically at me while I showered.

My clothes were near him, and because he'd acted very strangely, I kept an eye on him while I was swimming.

I've never seen anything like this in a public place before, but he started doing martial arts poses and kicks. Then he started banging his elbows and knees against a big cement post, like it was a punching bag, using Muay Thai strikes, and grimacing in the direction of the pool. This went on for about 1/2 an hour and then he disappeared into thin air.

All I could think of is that one of the nuts from the Internet had tracked me down.

not all cases are the same.

i have alot of farang friends who have good business's in pattaya, they've been going for a while and still going well.

my business is 3 years old now, over 50% of my staff are from the 1st year of opening and we are growing stronger every month.

alot of the problems that were mentioned before are when people buy and don,t check it out thoroughly before.

as far as my business is concerned it cannot be sold or changed unless my british partner and myself signs. same goes for the lease.

the work permit belongs to the company registered on it, it does'nt matter if your name is on it, if a member of staff finishes the job for whatever reason then the permit should be kept by the employer and the employer has to enform the labour office and who will cancel it.

even if you still have the permit you cannot use it any where else

About someone with a 20,000 Baht overstay applying for a work permit. My pointy-haired boss is trying this. I will let you guys know how it goes.

All is forgiven if it happen before. However, if he was on overstay NOW, I can't imagine how he could ever get a WP. The WP is tied to your Visa in your passport.

i know there is way's to work the system but honestly can anybody tell that they are 100% satisfied with staying in thailand for the duration with the consent worry of being found out before going to the airport.
