I've ordered a lot of stuff from Aliexpress but never Alibaba, though they are the same company, aliexpress has some buyer protection and i've never had a problem with over probably 50 different orders of various things.

The biggest thing i've ordered from Aliexpress has been an acoustic guitar. I wouldn't suggest spending to much on there though, you never know the quality.

For sofa stuff, there are places where you can get custom built furniture in Thailand, that would be better option in my opinion.

A mate of mine had some procedures done while in Bangkok at the Naravee Clinic. I can't remember which facelift procedure he had, but I think it was the non-surgical procedure. I moved from my old condo that had an ice factory opposite, to a condo about 130m away from a school. And I have to say, the school is much louder than the ice factory...

Every morning at about 7am they start playing this old Thai music through the loud speakers and then there are people (maybe teachers) ranting on about things and then the kids go through their multiplication tables.

I'm just curious if it's just my luck or do all schools do this here?

The weird thing is that you ask questions here on a internet forum about your personal gf problems. Better you ask your parents what to do.

I doubt the parents have delt with any kind of madness which is a Thai girl. I had exactly the same problem, but more extreme with the girl cheating and smoking meth in my bathroom! I even had a new girlfriend move in to live with me 8 months after I broke up with my ex-gf but she still persist on coming around so was forced to change condo. One night I went to the security because she forced herself into the room and I couldnt get her out, the security wouldn't do anything.

Even after my landlord told the security not to let her or her car, the useless security still kept letting her in. Honestly they're useless.

Best bet is to go away on holiday, buy a lock thing to put over your door handle with pad lock and hopefully she doesn't come around and call a lock smith, talk with your landlord, they will try to help as much as possible because they want you to keep being a tenant. If you have a good thai friend, make a complaint to the police too.

I'm sure my question has been answered before, but I haven't found a topic covering it.

I recently got a new passport delivered to me from my country via DHL. I ordered a new one because my old one was a bit roughed up and nearly full.

My non-imm b visa has expired but I still have a month before I have to exit Thailand stamped into my old passport. I will be going to my home country of New Zealand for 1 month in a couple of weeks. Do I need to get my entry stamp from my old passport transfered to my new passport at immigration? Or can I just go to the airport with both passports and get processed normally?

I definitely get annoyed about what goes on in this country, but if I was back home i'd be annoyed at something there too.

My situation in Thailand is really great, I am a 23yr old running my own IT/Web/eMarketing Thai registered company with a few full time employees with an ok office and a nice condo. Every year I have multiple holidays within Thailand, other countries and I go home once a year. This year I spent 3 weeks in Japan, 2 weeks Pattaya, 1 week Koh Chang, 1 week Udon Thani and I will go to New Zealand for 1 month with my gf, who is a pleasant educated girl with a good job.

If I was back home I couldn't do the same thing or it'd definitely be hard, it would be to expensive to setup my own business and working full time only allows for a certain amount of time off per year.

So being in my situation I can see myself here for the foreseeable future. If I have to move out of Thailand I would look to other countries that are affordable.

3000 baht to recover a car, thats about 2 weeks salary when you have already lost every thing, so for me it is a lot.

It's not too difficult to get the bugs to do this. Next time you find a good sized bug put him on a ball just below the top and as the ball starts to rotate from the weight of the bug he will start crawling to the top and will continue to try getting to the top but never will while the ball rotates.

With my registered Thai company we do many things web & IT related, with one of our sites is we do SEO Thailand (see what i did there). We're also a Google AdWords certified partner company. We only take one client per industry and we have clients from the most competitive industries here (cosmetic surgery & hotel bangkok). Here is my advice.

The way Google's algorithm works is quite logical, but it is smart and is always being updated. Site A has better, more relevant content than Site B, Site A also has more relevant incoming links for said content than Site B, hence Site A ranks higher than Site B.

Be wary of any online SEO companies from India as the often build poor quality incoming links and use somewhat blackhat SEO (for more information i could link you to a blog post, pm me). Also without the proper knowledge, hiring someone local to scale the web to build links back without any database to work from and no one with experience monitoring the work, it will not bring the right authority back into your website. Some of the advice mentioned above is quite good, have unique content that is well written and helpful to the reader makes a big difference.

From my research of the work from local Thai SEO companies they usually do a two things,

• 1. No SEO at all and just pay-per-click advertising. This has happened many times when i've gone to a meeting and the company said they had been doing SEO for a year but there is no evidence of any links being build back.
• 2. Build authority back to your website by getting links to your website from their database of sites (they usually own) and then when the contract ends and you do not continue, they will remove all the links from their database of sites. One of my clients, their Thai site has 1000's of links from all these .info websites, which are just default wordpress blogs setup by this Thai SEO company, which is really useless since these 1000 websites have no authority themselves.

Ask your potential SEO companies or freelancers for a keyword report for the phrase and exact match, this will let you know how many searches per month those keywords are getting. For english keywords in Thailand, in most industries it is not too hard to get them ranking high as english is not the native language here and local SEO is pathetic. Find out what they're going to be doing and ask for detailed work reports.
