This is powdered skunk flowers and it works perfectly for vaping. I guess I should probably try and roll it up in a joint but vaping, it's perfect. 50g 600baht. You won't be sorry.

Inflorescences of premium quality Thai Squirrel-tailed cannabis strains

I concur, best buzz out of 6 different types of weed in front of me, best price too.

I purchased only once. Great follow-up, easy prompt transaction. I paid ahead to time but you can get it COD. For 290 baht you're pretty safe.

I think to do is to negotiate for the 100g price but get it packed in 20g packages. I bet he'd do that.

Anyway, give your feedback on this.

    Thanks for your reply.

B290 lost is fine if it's just B290 once, but this will be my 6th or 7th order from a different supplier and I've been let down a few times, so it's a few hundred, a few times...

I'm curious why you suggest negotiating for 100g when I've never purchased from them before? Not only does that sound a bit iffy, but it's starting to annoy me how much plastic is being used as packaging for all this new product.

I recently bought 5g of kief and it arrived in 5 thick plastic test tubes!

So if anything, I'll order 20g,try it out, see what my experience is like with the shop, then purchase more if it's any good.

I'm just about to give the 20g pack a go, but before I buy, I just wanted to ask if you've purchased from this shop on multiple occasions?

Anybody try using this place in the link above (www.greenlungsth.com)?  Their website does appear to have exactly what I need (dry herb vaporizers, etc), but there's currently no way to purchase anything directly from the website.  Apparently the only way to contact them directly (or buy anything) is via the Line app.  I did chat with them on Line yesterday, and they tell me that payments are made through direct deposit into their account, but I'm not sure if I have any way of confirming whether I should expect to receive good service.  Anyone try them already?

I'm looking at a dynavap convection heater, but apparently you have to order through line, despite the product being on their website, I'm wondering why that is?

The product is actually cheaper here than back in the UK, too.

    Any recent experiences?

  5. We've got polished cement floors in our rental, and whilst they got damaged in the 2011 floods, they still look a million times better than most other floors in the land.

I had a hose detach itself from our pressure washer yesterday, the hose sprayed water absolutely everywhere, our polished cement stairs turned into a waterfall, the water half flooded downstairs too, and after a little mopping the water had almost vanished, with no damage whatsoever.

We use non-slip mats from makro in the bathrooms just to be on the safe side. But even whilst mopping up the floor never got slippery enough to bother me.

So yes, use polished cement flooring, it's nice to the touch, it's durable and it looks lovely, and any damage it does get will just give it character.

Here's one coffee you may want to avoid, as wasn't for us:

My review of, and vendor's reply to:

"Burnt flavor ... not for us. At least not expensive to sample. Fast delivery, though silly delivery charge. 64 baht for a 200 baht item = 30+ % delivery charge????"

"Response from store - 2 years ago

Roast with machine standard.cargo North to south Prachuap Khiri khan 64 baht system is calculate."

Here's one coffee to consider, and we've happy sipping for about 10 yrs:

    image.png.451e71019cae7ac9ecad7a41eb18ba93.png

They offer different beans/Arabica/Robusta/blends.  We prefer the Arabica.

Although, wanting to test a new brand, we sampled at coffee shop, and if we switch, I'll update.

On actually brewing, I actually prefer this SS Drip funnel:

    image.png.ea7e1acbdb633ffca076922c143d399a.png

I seem to have more control over the extraction time, by simply pouring the water in slowly vs our 'coffee' machine, as 15 bars, water goes thru too fast to extract properly, unless wanting Americana, and that's stretch.  Don't care for the limited amount the portafilter hold.

We have the 'machine', French presses & Moka pots, and prefer the cheap A$$ drip funnel ????

    image.png

This is interesting, as I often leave the cafetiere for the washing up pixie(s) due to utter laziness, I'm sure my washing up pixie(s) would appreciate an easier job, I'll see if I can get one that'll accommodate my 400ml morning coffee.

I'm actually travelling to the UK this week and I've got a stainless cafetiere on my shopping list which I'm really looking forward to! But this drip funnel - if there are no disposable/replacement parts required - could be a welcome addition to my morning coffee ritual.

  7. I, too, used to drink instant coffee here, I think it's because back in the UK everybody around me drank instant coffee, nobody I knew had a coffee machine or even a cafetière/French press.

I decided I wanted to cut milk/creamers out of my coffee and the only way of doing that was to drink 'fresh' coffee, so I headed down to my local Foodland, picked up the cheapest ground coffee I could find, went to Ikea and got a cafetière(cheaper are available now on Laz/Shopee), and I've never looked back since.

I've tried Boncafe, which is nice, I've tried imported African ground, which was disappointing, I've also gone random in Foodland and tried some more expensive ground coffee, but nothing compares to my old faithful - Duang Dee Hill Tribe Coffee

It costs B99 for 250g, the flavour is amazing, it may not be the coffee connoisseurs' choice, but it's a million miles away from that instant muck, plus there's zero sachet/pod wastage.

So, for a low cost foray into 'fresh' coffee, try this first, you won't be disappointed, not for taste, nor price.

  8. When I done this trip a few months ago there was an 'overtime' charge, the officers said it was because I was crossing on a Sunday, but when I returned during the week the 'overtime' fee still had to be paid, tricky bleeders.

I had an evisa but still had to stop at the visa window for the officers to process the visa, so it's not really worth getting an evisa unless you're unable to find crisp US dollar notes.

Dry-herb vaporizers do get quite hot, and the vapor travel path is very short.

I don't find the vapor to be hot though. The last hit, especially if you bump the temp, can be a tad harsh, but not cough-inducing.

I find I need to let them cool a bit between sessions, and re-loading.

I actually use three separate units for a single session.

Cheaper units may end up hot, my last experience was with a Pax 3 and it was not hot at all, but then I don't use high power and I don't need clouds.

Sorry I meant Sai Tai Mai. (But there are some awesome dispensaries in Sai Mai, hence my mistake.)

    OK, but you did say...

So I'm confused. Or maybe you are?

My guess is that there are ~ 200 dispensaries in the greater BMA, you do not need to "cruise around for weed", just use the internet to search for nearby dispensaries.

Most sales occur online, with delivery, so you can avoid other humans.

I'm not confused at all, I don't go out much, but it'd be nice to have somewhere local to browse.

    I order online already.

The OP has self-acknowledged mental health, addiction and anger issues.

And appears to have some sort of agenda as well.

Sounds like stopping to smell the flowers is a bad idea for him? Slipping back into that old lifestyle.

Also weird that they got back in their car and drove impaired and angry.

There are hundreds of dispensaries in Bangkok, there are a few in Sai Mai Road area.

Thanks. Sai Mai is NE BKK, I'm in the West, as I said above.

I only go out to buy food locally, never socially, and never cruising around looking for weed, and anyhow humans annoy me too much to go out out.

It does, yeah, I don't think this is actually the issue. I recall a couple of times when they specifically asked if it was debit or credit. I even asked if I could scan in some kind of way but they said no, only cash or credit card. Maybe the owner of the shop can decide on these things and it's not a standard thing. Maybe they are encouraged by banks to only accept credit cards as they are more profitable.

I hadn't thought of that, it's highly possible, especially as the following quote from another poster says they use their Krungsri debit card in 7eleven...

I have never been able to pay with a debit card in 7/11, only credit is accepted, and I have always wondered what this policy was all about. Other shops such as Lotus (even the small ones), accept them.

This is the problem, the inconsistencies.

Does your debit card have both the contactless & the chip on it? I ask because I think if you were to just tell the counter staff that you were paying by card, they would push a button on their screen, tell you to either insert or tap your card on the reader, and you'd be away. As it doesn't matter to them if you're using a credit or debit card, as both have contactless & chip.

  14. As if by magic, Krungsri just notified me that I could apply for a card through the app(the service was immediately unavailable however), but I got these screenshots to share;

When I used our credit card at 7eleven I just tapped the card reader, I'm assuming I'll be doing the same with one of these cards, as they mention in the 'Features'.

I think it's been so long since I had a debit card that this feature simply wasn't available then, which may have been part of the catalyst for us getting a credit card, but I'm glad this is available now, as the B480 it'll cost over 3 years is minute compared to the amount our credit card was costing us!
