What I did was stupid but harmless and I was given an appropriate punishment; trying to find a way to deal with this tragedy is beyond me all have a lot of pain and this kid will be damaged as it is, so are the families.

WOW the vast majority of commentors on this subject should have lived in the middle ages, where it was acceptable to execute a child for crimes. (actually, maybe some did live in middle ages, based on the TV demographic... )

The person concerned is under the legal age, has scr*wed up big time and has to live with it for the rest of her life.

Now I am in agreement that her parents should be brought to account, if it turns out they had knowlege about her driving cars etc etc

I see a glimmer of hope for the young lady who caused the accident. She has a mother who has a lot of courage and a fair amount of compassion.

Most fatalities come as a surprise to those experiencing the fatality. Typing into a Blackberry or PC winging about the bib whilst eating can cause death by choking. We are human with frailties and pay the price or stay lucky. Life is a risky endeavor.
