  1. Was hoping for 3 points for the Hammers against Wolervs this weekend but after they beat the pool at Anfield am a bit worried now.

I wouldn't worry too much. Your defence is rock solid....Parker is way better than anyone in the pool midfield and your strikers are on a roll.....

Spot the obvious mistake anyone? :D

    care to elaborate????

  2. It really is true! Levy wants 'Arry to spend BIG.......and the boss is being more cautious.......what a wonderful combination! :)

All we need now is a sniff of the right striker being available and he's ours.......a player from Spain anyone...? :D

    ehhhh , source???????

not as much as we love you people :D :D :D :D , next please

  3. We will turn wolves over tomorrow 100 %,watch this space.

A couple of half decent results and the claret and blue specs are on. Priceless. I love you lot....etc...etc.....:P

yove a real short memory , unsurprisingly

  4. just been told you lot are gettin balotelli :o

    What a ridiculous rumour. :D

Laugh as you will about the Benzema stuff but you have to admit we have a decent relationship with Madrid as the transfers of VDV and Woodgate would suggest.

carms can you please explain, whats spurs got to do with woogates transfer from real??? i would say fark all ,

but im sure you spuds can think of something , like he flew over n17 on his way to boro , so real love spuds then???/

    another priceless spuds post

  5. This is barking mad. We should snap West Ham's hands off.

Manchester City turn down £95k-a-week West Ham loan deal for Wayne Bridge

West Ham have stepped up their survival plans with a swoop to take Wayne Bridge on loan and pay him £95,000 a week — only for Manchester City to reject the bid.

The Hammers were confident of securing the services of the former England full back until the end of the season, having been told City would consider loaning out some of their fringe players if their wages could be met in full.

The London club made an official enquiry for Bridge with a view to completing the transfer in time for the Barclays Premier League clash at Newcastle next Wednesday.

But they were stunned when the deal hit a snag, with City insisting they must cover Bridge's wages plus all the add-ons and bonuses.

Barking mad is right . The scammers haven't got two bob to rub together! :D

smokes, you dont half spout a lot of shight on aregular basis , , maybe its the spuds fan in you,

  6. Well I'm extremely happy with the displays against Newcastle and Villa. Last night also showed that we are not just a one man team, Ballotelli's penalties were brilliant if not slightly arrogant.

He scored with 2 penalties Wooooooooow, how can scoring a penalty be brilliant and they weren't exactly hit in the roof of the net ;) you obviously ain't got much else to get excited about :D

He scored an hatrick but watch the 2 penalties. For a lad of his young years, his calmness is amazing. He could shoot the ref in front of 40,000 fans and still pass a lie detector test. Beleive me, I've got lots to be excited about at the moment and it's not a minute too soon for a long suffering blue.

mmh, only 2 weeks ago i saw city play west ham, i was impressed with balotellis calmness after being booked , and his all round general calm attitude to being subbed , , i thought , that young chaps attitude is certainly an asset to his teammates :D

  7. Don't knock England's No1 striker now imola!

andy carroll??? what?? youre not buying him aswell are ya????

Having seen how Dawson took him out of the game, no, i doubt we want Carroll just yet. He needs more time and needs to get the pikey, thug behaviour out of his system.

I never said Benzema had his bags packed did i? I merely said that he was number one on my list of world class strikers we should be aspiring to buy. And believe me imola, we are going to make a major signimg. :)

Is Jamie O'Hara still on his way the Pikey Park?

sorry carmine , i cant believe you , youre aspuds fan, same as i dont believe in santa anymore,

anyway as you no doubt know this " ,:MAJOR" signing is 100% defo, give us all a clue then????, is it pascal chimbonda????

  8. I am a visionary. ;)

I predict West Ham will be relegated.

i tell you what though, how exciting would that be watching Torres VDV Modric with bale and Lennon racing down the wings. :whistling:

I'm taking one of either Villa or Liverpool to join 'em! :D

Against Milan....aye fantastic. Can he play CL?

hang on where does benzema fit in?? you people are priceless

We have a problem mate with Benzema's 173 grand a week wages. ;)

ahh right,so it was benzema was bags packed ready to sign asap, but you turned him down at the prospect of shellin out 173k,

    ah well that clarifies that,

expect karims gutted havin to stay and play for real madrid an all that, sure hed a loved teaming up with torres, and err crouch

  11. More opinions on Freddie Ljungberg as per today's BBC Gossip column:

Former Celtic striker Henrik Larsson says the club cannot afford to miss out on the chance to sign his fellow Swede, Freddie Ljungberg, who is on trial in Glasgow. (Various)

Freddie Ljungberg would not be good for Celtic as he is now more suited to being an underwear model than playing football in the twilight of his career, according to the club's former striker, John Hartson. (the Sun)

Confusing? Well at least Celtic might start playing some sexy football :whistling:

salty , just because youre "team" signs a bawbag , does not mean you are obliged to agree, with said signing of said bawbag,

after that statement , wil he still be a laod ayepants???? brief reply only

  14. smokie,

Being Irish I tend to look at the SPL purely through a Celtic perspective. There is no doubt that administrative level in Scotland there is a lack of imagination. I often feel no matter what's done they are just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Youngster's lfestyle and small population means there is a meagre suppy of potential.

In Ireland football is not the National Sport. Many possible prospects are lost to Gaelic Football. Like Scotland a small population. The money in the Greed is good sorry Premier League and at the summit of other European Leagues has destoyed any hope of a level playing field. Even Serie A now seems to be losing its lustre. So its hard to see the Old Firm making any impact in Europe from now on. Rangers have been decent in the CL but Celtic in Europe have beem abysmal.

From someone who is already cynical cherish those negative sentiments. :whistling:

hibs can somtimes be a refreshing alternative, :) erin go bragh

  15. Celtic 2 St Johnstone O

Celtic just about managed to avoid dropping more points today with 2 injury time goals against St Johstone. Both scored by South Koreans who leave for the Asian Cup tomorrow. It looks like it was another uninspired display by our heroes but mercifully saved us from falling further behind Rangers who were strolling to 3 points at Motherwell.

Latest gossip has us interested in looking at 34 year old Freddie Llunberg. I would suggest that the only similarity to the great Henrik is that they both are Swedish. I would love to be wrong but I cannot see the side being magically transformed with this proposed acquisition.

Celtic have had a run of underwhelming performances and it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that they are more than capable of dropping more points at regular intervals. At this moment the prospects for next weeks Old Firm game look ominous.

salty , youre latest gossip reminds me of my childhood, watching cartoon cavalcade, lungberg i thought retired after an abysmall effort at west ham
