There are many possible approaches to prostate cancer and a variety of individual factors need to be taken into consideration, including the patient's age, overall health, how aggressive the tumor is etc.
ADT is not usually indicated as a stand alone treatment in men with non metastatic prostate cancer. A combination of ADT and radiation therapy would be more usual.
I suggest you come to Bangkok for a second opinion. These are 2 very experienced western-trained urologists who are conservative in approach:

Did you really mean PSA 82, or is there a missing decimal point?
82 not 8.2. Just over 2 years ago it was 22 & then diagnosed with prostate cancer. In 1 year it climbed rapidly to 62, now increasing more slowly. Travel could be difficult as recently discovered some degenerative bone problem in lower back which is extremely painful and severely restricts mobility. MRI 10 days ago showed no indication of spreading cancer
-
My urologist has recommended ADT for my prostate cancer which has not spread at this time. PSA reading currently 82. I have not had any treatments to date. Limited options in Phuket.
Any experiences, recommendations? Thanks

The Phuket Tourist Association has invited ambassadors and consulate officials from 28 countries to visit the island for three days in November.
Just trying to do the maths. How can you do 14 days quarantine in 3 days
One would assume ambassadors are living in BKK so no need for quarantine

Wondering if anyone has seen or heard of this product which my wife bought through FB. Trying to find the ingredient list to check any possible interactions with other medications but site http://www.d-haeng.com seems to be only Thai. My concern is that there are products sold on FB which can be quite dangerous although this one looks like they are selling natural organic products

If it's due to prostate cancer, the answer will likely be not util the prostate is removed (or you're dead).
But I had exactly the same symptoms and was diagnosed with BPH and it was
1 week with catheter ...... didn't work so 1 month with catheter, after the month it was still a bit hard.
Combined with Doxazosin every day to help alleviate the symptoms for the rest of my life (or until the prostate surgically altered).
Over a year later everything works fine now as long as I keep taking the Doxazocin.
PS. I'm not sure I don't have prostate cancer.
Are you taking Doxazocin (or equivalent)?
Taking tamsulosin. Forgot to mention also have some small kidney stones on either side as seen by ultrasound

Having been afflicted with this I can say it is a frustrating & sometimes frightening experience. The symptoms leading up to basically total shutdown were exactly those of UTI. Anyway had a catheter inserted for one week along with a round of antibiotics. The freedom after the catheter was removed was fantastic but it transired after a gruelling day with just a little urine coming out at various intervals that I had to get a catheter again along with a course of anti inflammitories.
My question is this : how long should or can a catheter remain in place to aid in effective cure. GP did not really know as not his field of expertise although he has been trying to be most helpful. Urologist did not offer any thoughts as to cause & treatment but could only talk about having a biopsy which I am very reluctant to do because of a couple other health conditions which can make the procedure risky. Note an MRI just under 2 years ago where technician diagnosed prostate cancer which I had confirmed, based on the same MRI, by my doctor back home.
Appreciate any thoughts from those who have experienced this or from any medical personnel.

Is there a specific feature you're looking for, or reason you don't want to use a browser-based client?
Not really but Outlook for example will not save changes to my signature. Small thing but annoying. I am unable to upgrade as I think it is not legit

Looking for recommendations for a free email programme besides Gmail. Currently using Outlook 2007.

Another thought, has anyone got an above ground pool similar to this https://www.lazada.co.th/products/intex-2678828316-prism-frame-13-20-i220210249-s335593815.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlistcategory.list.29.17d76ef2v9LATK&search=1
Where are you located? If in Phuket we could build a cheap concrete & tile pool for you

Just hope the authorities don;t let their guard down with the returnees as it just takes one to set off a chain reaction

It is all the people without jobs now that truly need help and many of those are back up country putting extra burden on their families whereas before they were able to relieve the burden by sending money back home.
But, Phuket does need to come up with a cohesive plan to diversify away from being tourism dependent & not just keep demanding funds to continue the same old destructive tourism behaviour.

Where is the problem that should be more of a concern.
If Covid was not controlled, as the roads are not, there would be many more deaths
