I got my visa in Laos, no extensions yet.

What happens to your visa if you are on a Non-O multi entry based on marriage and you get a divorce?

Soon it won't matter anyway. The NSA is building a facility (in Utah I think) that will intercept and copy every e-mail sent globally. These will be scanned by their computers for keywords relating to whatever or whoever they happen to be looking for at the moment.

Mike's Mall has lots of XL sizes. Just make sure you check several vendors to get the best prices.

I had my wife send about 12k USD about 4 years ago from her Kasikorn Bank account. No questions asked sending to the US.

Here's one with more on the by weight part of the law.

Read this. I know it's only CNN but I figured a second rate source like them would be good enough for TV.

Some people paying attention to this thread may not know that in the US, the State of Utah has made gold and silver legal tender by weight.

Across the street from the Thai Consulate is a small shop that wiil do all the paperwork, make passport photos, and photo copies for you for a nominal fee. I paid 150 baht in January. After that I walked across the street, turned in my paperwork, got my number and I was out in less than 10 minutes.

It's typical that they blame the electrical system if they don't know the real cause of the fire. They do this in the US too. I know of one time when they blamed the electrical system for causing a fire in an abandoned warehouse. The problem was that the services cables had been cut long before the fire ever started.

I've heard that Mongolian banks are paying 13.5% but I have no other information on it.

I had dinner at California Steak on top of the Kameo House apartments last night. I did not know this ahead of time but on Mondays they have a buffet for 650 THB per person. The food was decent and I will go back to try some regular menu items in the future. They also had a band playing some Elvis tunes and some old rock but it wasn't too loud.

If you fly up there make sure you arrange airport pick up ahead of time. There are no taxis at the airport.

The room was ok but was already showing some wear and tear. The casino is in town and there were lots of tuk-tuks and vans for hire to take you where you need to go. The driver of Van #20 took me to the consulate and on a tour of the local area for a few hours and then shopping at a few places for 800 baht for the day. He seemed to be a genuinely nice guy who was proud of his home and enjoyed showing people around. He also looked out for me when some of the locals tried to jerk me around on some shopping.

That's not citzenship it's permanent residency status. Two different things.

It will be interesting to see how they make a suicide out of this one.

Why on earth would they publish the card numbers?

Let me put it this way.
If you access from a Thai IP and you can supply a U.S. address, can you set up a secure account for S.S. estimate info, or not?
I did.

I'm looking for a decent 1BR or studio (prefer the 1BR) for a decent rate for a long term rental anywhere between Jomtien and Pratamnak hill. Proximity to the beach or the baht bus lines is not important. Must have a nice pool area, decent kitchen, and secure parking. I've been looking at the various websites with listings and it all kind of jumbles together after awhile so I was hoping for some recommendations from the nice folks here on TV. I'm also not sure at all about what something like this would go for so if I could get some ideas on that aspect as well that would be helpful. Thanks to all in advance.

I got my licenses in Rayong with my US drivers license, IDP, medical certificate, and certificate of residency and did not have to take any written or driving tests. I only took the vision and reaction tests.

I just did the whole setup from Rayong on 3BB with no VPN. No issues.

I've flown QA many times in business and been very pleased each time. I got food poisoning from the Emirates lounge in BKK and my friend got his suitcase broken into on the same flight. We bot contacted Emirates in regards to these issues and they refused to even respond. I haven't flown them since.
