Constant hip and leg pain
Thanks everybody. Have made an appointment at Sripat OPD clinic, to do an MRI this morning. Have taken the anti inflammatory meds, celebrex, and meds for neuropathic pains, for 2 weeks, all without results. Anyway, hope they can see something on the MRI.

Constant hip and leg pain
Wonder if somebody has a solution to my constant hip and leg pains. I am male, 77 years old and no other medical issues. Have this pain in my right hip, right buttock, for about 6 months now, with pain radiation down my leg, upper and lower right-side of the leg. No pain in foot. Pain worst during the night, when laying in bed, sleeping almost impossible, sitting is bad, bending down bad, when laying on my stomach, impossible to raise that leg. Pfff! Have seen 2 doctors, orthopedics, and x-rays do not show any problems. And both don’t know, in just giving muscle relaxants (norgesic) pain-killers (Celebrex) and Berlotin and Gabutin, for neuropathic pain. Seen osteopath, physiotherapists, acupuncture, all to no avail and some make pain even worse. Also have followed many YouTube videos on this subject, thinking about sciatica, piriformis muscle, bursitis, etc etc. Done all the exercises, stretching, cycling, swimming, all give no release. Am coming at my wits end as what the problem might be and who can help me. If anybody has any answers or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

queue ticket
Just want to let people know how I fared doing the retirement Extension yesterday at Immigration at the airport, for a long time without being able to obtain a queue ticket. Obviously had all the documentation done the day before, bank statements, photo, copies. Arrived there at 9 AM. Got ticket at entry station for checking documents. Documents were checked and got another ticket for main immigration hall. According to the numbers called, there were 9 people in front of me, window 9. Got called after about one hour and at 10.30 all completed. Great service, easy and no hassle.

queue ticket
This apparently the services they offer at Central Festival; and yes, unfortunately not the retirement extension. Back to the airport I presume; alas.

queue ticket
That's great. Will try Central Festival for a change. Thanks for the info. BTW. Where or which floor is the Immigration?

queue ticket
Attempting to do my retirement extension and get a queue ticket; Seems to be more or less impossible. Is the system not working, or somehow all queue tickets are booked? Can one do extension at Central Festival as well? Or, can I go to Lamphun, many tickets available there?

Car and driver "meet and greet" at the airport on arrival
There are a few co's that one can charter re pickups. Most are "international" and operate in any country as such. Thought maybe somebody knows a regular driver. that is on time, waits and does the transfer. Not necessary for me; bur for my wife and kids that will arrive at different dates.

Vacuum suction problem
Yes, that is what I suspected, that somehow there is air going into the suction pipe. Will check that. Mind, you might be difficult job as most of it is underneath the deck. Or I might change all the pipework going from suction pipe to pump and beyond. What you think? Momentarily it's a bit of a mix of pipes and honestly, a bit of a mess. The bottom drain is OK, I never used it yet, but if I need it is there, and will just run out of the pipe in the pump room, near the sprinkler pump.

Vacuum suction problem
Hi. Wonder if somebody has some advice for me. The hoover/vacuum hole has good suction. When I attach the hose, the end of hose has good suction as well. Then, when hoovering the floor of the pool, after a minute or so, the suction decreases a lot. The water entering the skimmer basket has very little flow. All worked fine, for several years, till about 2 weeks ago. I have an overflow pool. The suction pipe goes to the pump and afterwards to the filter and then to pool outlets/nozzles. As you can seem the basket of the pump has almost no water going in and lots of air. Checked the filter, pump, connections and all’s as it should be. Any reason why suddenly this is happening? video_2023-12-13_10-16-27 (3).mp4

Pea Smart Meter
Wonder if anybody can tell me how to read the PEA smart meter. It has 3 different rates: T1, being peak rate (9AM till 10 PM) T2, being off-peak rate (10 PM till 9 AM) T3, being weekend rate. Anybody knows what are the charges in Thai Baht for each rate? What does L1, L2 and L3 mean? And then the different displays, especially which display tells me the current meter reading, e.g. how many KW used in total? A bit confusing, I must say????
