Filipina girls are far too cocky. No thanks.

Many thanks. That's a very clear explanation and recommendation!
You can buy another one from 55k so don't spend too much on it.

More like 30-40k
I don't think so. I can replace my Nissan RB20DET in my drift car for 15k but I would fit it myself for free.

And cost more than the Hilux is worth. ????

That is completely cooked and looking at the water galleries its never had the correct coolant in it as its all rusty. Even though antifreeze is not a requirement here it should still have it in the coolant to protect from corrosion which obviously this one hasn't. Poor maintenance has caused this engine to blow.
Get a 2nd hand engine from a breakers and have the radiator and coolant hoses all cleaned out. Possibly a new radiator is required.
Maybe 10k from a breaker and 5k to fit it.

How is it a scam?
COD means Cash On Delivery.
So you pay when goods are delivered to you and don't pay when they are not.

We don't live in a farm house and if any unwanted visitors showed up they have to get past the electric fence CCTV, and Dobermans. If that doesn't stop them il set the wife on them. ????

If you read the article it says Raja Farries.
Raja is the ferry company, not the name of the vessel.

Looks like a pretty good flick, I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the suggestion as I've never heard of it before.
Its a true story and he has a YT channel and sometimes talks about his time in a Thai prison. Says things like when he was transferred to a UK prison from Thailand, UK prisoners were complaining about cold chips and Billy had been eating fish heads, chickens feet and these complain about cold chips lol
Says he used to sleep next to dead bodies and witness rapes by knife point never mind cold chips. Lol

Idiots like this should watch the Billy Moore movie A Prayer Before Dawn.
That movie will put off anyone thinking about robbing anyone here.

The Thai dog breed Bang Kaew is probably the best domestic guard dog for you. They are both loving [BUT - only have one master] and exceedingly territorial.
A pure bred [with pedigree and Bang Kaew Kennel Club registration] is going to set you back about 10,000 baht and they need looking after. My Bang Kaew is excellent but has to have top quality food and is regularly checked by the vet. Expensive - yes, but Thais are very, very wary of Bang Kaews and will not go near where they are.
If you have one they will be a great deterrent but be aware that you do not let them loose outside your property. Anyone attempting to access your property could be subject to attack - and they do not let go!
We thought about a Bang Kaew after years of Dobermans and losing our latest one last year, but we decided to get another Doberman.
-
We've only had Dobermans here and they protect our home just as we expect them too. If you want a Doberman PM me and il put you on to the best breeder in Thailand that breeds the best imported European bloodlines. Maybe too expensive for you though.
If cost is an issue then how about a Thai Bangkeaw? These are available from 5,000 to 20,000.

Lets just hope a friend of a friend is not an immigration officer.

Depends on pre/post paid, type of SIM, level of credit and most importantly the validity.
What I presume he meant was that 20 baht would extend its life for a further month if you had less than 12 months validity. That's generally how pre paid works - at least for AIS.
However if I want to top up via SCB online banking the minimum top up is 50 baht which AFAIK will still only give you one month.
Wrong. Havent used my AIS number for 4 months while at work and Im -4.95 yes thats negative credit and still valid until 13 Nov 2023.
