  1. I have no complaint paying inflight meals. You save a lot and you pay a little for food. So what is the complaint? The more people eat-in, it will survive to create more ideas on how to serve better.

AirAsia is phasing out all Boeings and new airbus coming in stages. Just need to be patience.

Flight Attendents are smarts. I like their miniskirts.

Safety standard. Ok no problem. Otherwise they would have been grounded.

Opening up for more routes..thats great....

Online booking/checkin now everyone follow suite...

The guys in AA are very innovatives, lots of new ideas...more mature day by day..

  2. My family are going there in Jan 2008. FLy into Siem Reap for 3 days. express coach to PP and layback for 2 days. Then fly out from PP. We are not book on anything. Maybe towards travel time, we will reserve a room. And all arrangement throughout will be done there. A guide would be handy.

  3. Travellers here used to take things for granted and never plan properly when it come to travel arrangement. If you opt for cheap flights, you have to look at the fine exclusion clauses. If you want to have the benefits of all, then pay full fare. Thats all.

  4. Different organisations will put the time as to their locations eg. EST or PST or GMT when things happened half the globe away. To standardise it, it would be better to have the time as it happen at that place. eg. earthquake at North Sumatra 6.18pm Indonesia local time. Tsunami alert Thai islands at 6.40 pm Thai local time and coast of West Malaya 7.45pm Malaysia local time. This is only an example. This may safe some confusion to the public at large. What do you think?

  5. If we look at the map of South East Asia, the epic centre of the quake is at almost the tip of SE Sumatra. If it does trickle Tsunami, it will only hit alone the western coast lines of Sumatra, South of Sumatra and the Indian Ocean. I dont think it can reach the coast lines of Singapore, Malaya and or even Thailand. Anyone?

  6. A380 wing hits building while taxiing

    (

The pilots were not blamed for the damage. Mr Apinan said the accident occurred because the jet is so large, needing more space on the taxiway......

In other words, fault does not lie with the employees of Thai Airways. Instead, it lies with the "taxiway" and the sheer size of the plane. In as much as the building struck was probably erected during Taksin's prime-ministerial tenure, I'm surprised he didn't get blamed for the accident. True responsibility should lie with whoever is ultimately in charge of the Thai airports, as well as that individual's boss. But I forgot both their names.

Because of the sheer size of the plane, why didn't they think of fixing side mirrors and reverse gear in the first place?

  7. I dont know what is the fuss. All airports are build with safety features. Its just that someone have to train the personnels to use it. Awares on escapes routes. No blockage on escape doors. Of cause for security reasons, doors need to be locked. For safety reasons personnels need to be trained. Thats all.

  8. A lady try to hit a gunman with a handbag in the middle of a robbery???? Oh Gosh... I just dont understand. She may be better of if she use a chair or something solid but then again its a she..for all you know the chair may be heaver then her....give the robber everythings....if you face with someone armed run for your life.

  9. For now I will avoid Air Asia (actually I avoid them anyway, too much of a zoo on boarding).

It is quite risky, most of their planes are old.

The airline is facing out old planes and replace all of them with the new Airbus320. Give them time. They cant have all the new planes overnight. I flied on their new Airbus recently with great comfort.

  10. In Metropolitan Bangkok where accident cases outnumbers the emergency services that the city can speedily handled, these voluntary services supplement this shortage. To some this is for a good cause. In Malaysia where I lived some Rich Chineses would willingly take turn to take up the cost of funeral services for the poors. They believes it is for a good deed.
