My GF took a bracelet to a goldsmith at MBK. We went for coffee and came back to get it same day.

I'm nearly done applying for a METV on the e-visa site, https://www.thaievisa.go.th
Item 8 says; 8 . Applicant is required to upload his/her passport pages which contain all travel records for the past 12 months (1 year) since the last international trip.
I'm puzzled by the ending of the sentence. My last international trip was in September of this year. I have not travelled since. Do I upload pages from September to present? Do I upload beginning with my trip to Thailand in December of 2121? That was my first international travel after covid. Not uploading is not an option.
As a side note, item 7 (I think) requires me to upload a residency document if am not a citizen of the location where I am applying. Well I am a citizen, but it is requiring a document anyway. So I uploaded my driving license again which I used as proof of residency on another line item.. 555, TIT, or it will be upon my return. -

Maybe she can get a Non Imm O Visa at Savanakhet or Vientienne
Thank you for that. Is a Non Imm O Visa what you outlined in your first response?
I was quite surprised at the age requirement. -

Sorry but your post seems vague. Where are you and the girlfriend living now?
I'm puzzled by your response but OK, maybe you'll be helpful. She is living in Laos. I am not currently there but do not see the relevance of my location to her visa quandary.

My girlfriend is from Laos, divorced from her Thai husband. Her son is legally Thai and in university in Thailand. She wants to visit him regularly for long periods. I see posts here about people using Savanakhet as an easy path to continue a marriage visa. Is that an option for her? What are her options to visit her son? And what should she expect as a financial requirement? 400,000 TB in an account? And what is that visa called? Many thanks.

Could it be that the ratings went up because all the whiners went home?

Thanks Partington - you know your stuff on this topic.
So all PCR tests for Covid are rt-PCR - Thailand's instruction to Airlines that the superfluous but accurate full technical description must be used, is not really very helpful to the average traveler. BFN
BFN? I know BFD what is BFN?

One year ago my 2 dogs, then 9 and 10 years old, were switched from kibble with a bit of canned food mixed in to fresh meat and vegetables and a little rice. At the time they were somewhat fat and noticeably lazy. Within three months they had shed weight and gained energy and playfulness of a younger dog. No more kibble of any kind for my dogs. Yes it's a little more work but the reward is priceless.

Most of the time I can relate to the negative views so often expressed here. In this case I think the point is more about the resumption of direct flights. Somebody had to do it and now that it is a known resource the numbers will undoubtedly increase. Does this fix the entire problem? Of course not but in my clearly minority opinion, it is cause for celebration.

OK Photo Inspectors, take a very careful look at the photo. I hope you can see that is not a drum or barrel but the opening of a hatch. See the swing-away top off to the side? And I don't believe any fuel is depicted in the photo as it is further down that big opening. As for red fuel and agricultural use, there is no such distinction in Thailand. Apparently though there is something similar for export only.

Yet another example in a long list of examples of how blind they can be. I think the city is an amazing testament to the value and power of pu**y.

Wow what a dick. Let's hope you never have to worry about a loved one in the unlikely case that you ever have any.

That's just a partial guide. How about the list of what is not open or allowed? And perhaps a price list with a focus on the required testing once you are there?
And yet I am still standing by with the slimmest of hope that it will improve greatly so I can escape the coming arctic blasts- 4

I absolutely understand all the cynical remarks about this post. My 2 baht is that I am amazed that this happens AT ALL. You are guilty until somehow they say you are not.

"For those under 18, who are not eligible for vaccination and are traveling with a parent or guardian, they must have a medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, by the RT-PCR method, issued up to one month prior to travel"
Gee, I wonder why they are losing this battle. Under 18 could well be carrying it with no symptoms for days prior to travel. In 1 month they could have had it and recovered from it. Sort of like making the malls close an hour or 2 early. Ineffective.

Aussies stay Thailand for 6 months
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

Have you looked at Multiple Entry Tourist Visas? Every 60 days (or 90 days if buying extension) you must leave then stamp back in for 60 more. This is a good way to see surrounding countries. Insurance not required nor 90 day reports. The visa is valid for 6 months so it is possible to squeeze 9 months out of it.
