It all starts with an idea. That idea develops into an image that you create through the manipulation of light, controlling the depth of field and affecting the shape of the object. This is still-life photography. Our workshop will explore different techniques used to achieve impactful still-life photographs. We will demonstrate the necessary equipment, such as lights, backgrounds, and reflecting panels. We will also discuss composition and handling reflective or transparent objects, such as bottles or glass. We will cover some basic post-processing techniques to enhance your images. After a lecture and a series of demonstrations, you will have the opportunity to experiment using the new techniques you have learned. Admission fee costs 1000 baht

Doi Pha Nok Kok ridge walk

The walk will be from Baan Pha Nok Kok beyond Queen Sirikit gardens on the Samoeng loop Rd to Baan Buak Chan along the Doi Pha Nok Kok ridge. This will be a 12 km hike and will take around 4+ hours of walking. There will be some climbing of fairly easy slopes. The path will be slippery in places. Will meet at 8 and we expect to be back in town around 3-4 pm.
