The Government needs to look at authorizing Humanitarian Visas for both Ukranian and Russians who cannot get back to their Country due to lack of flights to them?

I have a Russian Guest who has just cut short his stay with us and intended to go to Czechoslovakia to start a new job in IT. The Czechs now do not want him! Sadly he is one of the respectful and nice Russians. I also have a Ukrainian who worked in Thailand online, but sadly his business has collapsed. He is a retired paratrooper and wants to go back and fight, but understandably his Wife would like him to stay put! A dreadful, dreadful mess all due to the stupidity of a madman, who hasn't got the first idea of tactics or resupply.

This is disgusting. Clearly he has no moral fibre, humanitarian ideals or rational thought regarding how this came about. Nor surprising that the Country is not moving forward with despicable people like him alleging leading the Country!

You clearly do not keep up with the news. Britain led the sanction of barring Russia from SWIFT, furthermore have been coming down heavily on Russians with money, property and business in the UK. Do engage brain before writing!

People are allowed to debate things that affect them personally, like pensions. Stop being so bloody obtuse, unless of course you would like to live in an autocratic Country like Russia? Whilst I am disappointed that my Government Pension does not get the increase that UK Residents do, what really annoys me is that I am paying tax on my Pensions, to subsidize the UK. But that's life!

Any Country in the World with any degree of morality should be imposing sanctions on Russia, furthermore, those who fail to do so and continue to trade with Russia, should come under the same sanctions as Russia. The World cannot afford to "pussy-foot" about on this, otherwise the next thing we know is Putin is leading us in to a Nuclear War and the elimination of millions of people. Putin has duped the World and now the World must punish him HARD.

Don't you read the Newspapers. Vietnam is about to open 100%, as others are, but of course what Thailand is worried about is that the masses might hit the streets again!

I tried it this morning and worked well (sort of) until I got to submit and it kept coming back with an error message. Tried the submit button over 20 times and no deal. Off to Immigration Samui today. I also tried sending them an email. You do not automatically get on to an email "new mail"site. Thailand you really need to get your act together........please!

Hopefully as time progresses the Government will realize that to test again on day 5 is not the best tactic, because arrivals will have been wondering around the Country with a risk of becoming infected. I believe that many will decide to go elsewhere. Thailand is not doing itself any favours with this "Test and go" system. Hopefully, as time goes bye, those in charge will review this rule and either reduce it to the original 1 day isolation, or like the UK do away with it all together!

We have 22 rai of land very nearSurat Thani, which we are very happy to develop in partnership to develop a Retirement Village. As my Thai Wife is the land owner, it eliminates all the issues of Foreign Ownership, and could develop probably about 30 units plus per rai, plus restaurant, gym, swimming poo and medical centre. I have been banking with Krungsri for nearly 17 years and this month transferred 60,000 baht in to my current account. They charged me over 1,000 baht to accept my money, which they will make interest on - disgraceful. I am currently looking at other banks for a better deal, where I don't get charged for giving them money!

Another "grass is greener on the other side post". I have been here now for 17 years and if I ignore the immature politics and corruption, life is great. Sure prices are going up, but they are everywhere else. Visas are a bit of a bore, but hey-ho, I have managed to get a married visa every year and was helped by Immigration when one year I made a nonsense of it. I have lots of very nice Thai Friends whom I dine with as often as possible and have a comfortable income from our various businesses and various pensions. The sun shines nearly every day and I am a great fan of Thai food. So, good food, good weather and good friends, with a comfortable income. What more could one want?
