  1. DirectAsia. I have 2 cars with them. Recently switched one car (3 year old MG5) from Roojai to DirectAsia because quote was a little cheaper, car was valued at a higher insurance price and they offer payments over 10 months with no increase from single yearly premium. They also offer a Type 1 Save option which is excellent if you want an excess. Roojai quoted me the same price as the previous year even though I've had no claims, stating cost of various parts, the age of the vehicle, and economic adjustments.
  2. My daughter had MRI at Prachachuen Bang Na clinic last November. Service was good and appeared to be good value compared to private hospitals. For comparison here is what we were charged for numerous scans. No issues with the image quality. Doctor on site reviewed the images with us for an additional THB500 fee.
  3. I travel overseas for work all the time and have used BBL app and online banking in many countries without a problem.
  4. I use online banking with Citibank almost daily and my address on file is in Thailand. Only restriction I have with Citibank is that I must have a US address registered for my Citi credit card. For debit card and normal banking Thailand address is fine.
  5. Citibank NA. Used them for years, never a problem.
  6. Not sure if the test is available but would suggest you contact Chonburi Cancer Hospital to ask. A friend of mine recently visited there for further screening after showing positive for HPV31 and HPV51 on a pap smear test so they should know about this one way or the other.
  7. A digital smart TV still needs to be connected to an external digital antenna to receive the signal. Readily available at electrical stores for a few hundred baht but you will then need to mount the antenna outside somewhere. Once connected you can tune in all the channels.
  8. Entered Thailand 3 or 4 times a year for close on 40 years and never happened to me. This post makes no sense. Why would immigration not stamp a passport particularly at Swampy?
