  1. Hot Dam! Those incredible teenage years with those uncontrollable raging hormones! Of course in those days you actually had to ask the Pharamacist behind the counter

for those Condoms...They were not readily available on the stores shelves way back then...

Putting them on the shelves and making them available to all, was a step in the right direction...

Taking condom vending machines out of a high school or junior high is a giant step backwards, But then again Thailand is still living in the Darkages!

  2. Condom vending machine or no condom vending machine never stopped any teenagers in the heat of passion from boinking. Only ignorant parents and an equal ignorant administration

staff could think of that! I doubt whether or not any of those let a condom stop them from boinking at that age. Come to think of it, those are no doubt the ones who's voices were the loudest!

  3. Its all about choices...There are much better places than the bars in pattaya, nana, patpong etc etc etc...If you chose to go in to sleasy places then you are taking a risk...

This is a lawless country plain and simple. And even if you are or in the right, you may end up DEAD right. If you cannot tell what kind of place you are walking into, then walk the other way.

Anyway you slice it, you are a foreginer and at a tremendous disadvantage. I once had a laptop stolen right on the street in Thaland, right out of my hand. I had a good descripton of the

Thai person who grabbed it out of my hand...I immediately proceeded to file a police report, and proceeded to ask them what they were going to do about it. Their answer: "Nothing, this

    is Thailand."

  4. I do not know whose Aircard service is the Worst: True, Ais, or Dtac they all tie for the worst possible servcie on the Planet. They absolutely lie...All of them. To be perfectly frank,

you are better off getting off using an internet cafe when you are without your computer..

I wen't down to True and got all my money back...The question is why should you have to go to an internet cafe with or without your computer and pay True, Dtac, or Ais for the same

service you are paying for...Unbelievable...Thailand if you haven't guessed by now is all show and absolutley no substance...especially they internet severices. At least in the Europe,

and the other western countries, you get what your paying for.

To get an aircard thru any carrier here is a complete waste of time and money

  5. The signal drops from Full to 1 bar and back all the time.

BUT even if its shows Full Signal i don't get MB/s Speed ONLY kb/s speed.

Where the hel_l is the so called high speed????????????????????????????????????????

    Why don't you ask Dtac?

"from Full to 1 bar and back all the time" might be a clue here.

  6. I can hardly feel any sympathy for their accidently over stepping the boundaries; but then again, I hardly believe it was an accident.

Perhaps it was time for the Thais to get a taste of they own horsepucky for a change. They can sure dish it out; that is for sure!

Maybe they will handcuff them to their prison cell bars and leave them to rot like the Thai Police did to the Brit...

But then again, one is still reminded that behind all the modern facilities in Thailand (at least in Bangkok). they are still very much a 3rd world

    country.

,My guess is the 8 year sentence will be used as a bargaining chip, maybe even for some of the cambodians who may be rotting in Thai prisons

    here.

  7. In my view, the British Embassy took the wrong action in writing him off. They certainly would not have written off any monies owed in taxes. They would have hounded and hunted him down like a dog to collect all monies he may have owed, then patted themselves on the back for a job well done.

  8. Whats pathetic in my view is the British Embassy...irrespective and mutually exclusive of everything else..letting him rot in a cell let alone being handcuffed to the cell. They could have

helped; yet refused and wrote him off.

Of course we realize everyone is repsonible for their own actions...but to let someone rot in a Thai jail irrespective of the cause, is rather disheartening to say the least.

  9. I do not believe Thailand will ever change...Why should it...Corruptron is the Medium and the Message here! Corruption is supported

by the Police and Rampant in the Government. Thats the way it is! Accept it or move on! However these types of incidents in Thailand

are the rule rather than the exception..

All this type of criminal behavior should be continuously publish in the Assocated Press. Complaining about it only in Bangkok newspapers

obviously falls on deaf ears...and besides if there were no corruption, what on earth would the newspapers write about!

  10. Does anyone know how many Murders of Foreigners occur each year in Thailand, and how many murders have actually been prosectured by the Thai courts, and geographically what

areas in Thailand (cities/provinces) have those murders occured in.

Each year over the past 5 years. It would make interesting publication in the Foreign Press, Bangkok Post, and the Nation. The headline should read. Murders of Foreigners in Thailand,

irrespective of whether or not they have been solved, unsolved, as well as the number committed by Thai Policemen.

  11. They need to give the police cheif who failed to show up 25years too. What scum all of them. How did either of these Dirt Bags even get on the Police force. But they sure show up around the end of the month during pay day waiting in line to stop traffic for some Tea Money...These Policeman insult not on their country, but their King!

  13. In the 10 years I have been in Bangkok, I do not ever remember ever seeing a driver of an automobile pull over to let an ambulance thru...in heavy or mild traffice. They just don't give a

a dam; until its them waitng for an ambulance. Has anyone on this post every see drivers pull over or try and get out of the way of an ambulance coming thru?

  14. The news we farang get is quite limited because in actual fact this kind of thing happens daily. You don't even need to read Thai, you just need to look at the photos in the Thai newspapers. Almost daily there are photos. Plus all the ones that do not have photos.

I'm surprised this was even on Thaivisa news.... the choice of news articles is kind of random here...
