Considering the evidence scattered around here of many people abusing the system, it makes bloody sense. Only hope that the 3 months formality can be made jointly with the first 90 days report.

Is that a THB200 fine same as for locals (when pulled over that is) when they do as they please?

Thais pay 50 or 100 BATH.

One thread week or so back heading...."tm30 now required at cw". Turned out guy was on marriage extension. Also maybe something else in application caused trouble. For retirement 100% not required.

I not do it about they told me that I not have to do it. And I do not like to do things who make no sense. May it's required - TiT ????

I live 300 days of the year in my home. And if I go away for holiday I think my home is still where I stay and report for 20 years.

PS I understand that the goverment liks to to know where I live. They do! When I leave the country in visit the immigration and when I come back to and the have the old address on the arrival card.

  3. Immigration 90 days did not work again.

    ?

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

    10.4.5 404 Not Found

The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

  4. I have tried today to do my 90 day report online via VMWare and IE and Firefox (mac) with the necessary add-on marked to IE11, then IE10 and then again IE9. I cannot even enter my personal details completely. You type one letter and the system hangs for several seconds. I can eventually get to my middle name and that's it. Is this symptomatic of the system being down?

Has anyone ever successfully completed the entire process if they live in Nonthaburi?

I don't really want to go to Immigration again because it is in the middle of nowhere and a pain to get to. The last time I did a 90 day report there the IO said if you live in Nonthaburi you cannot do it online.

It is problematic doing it on Mac. If you use the safari browser it has a function under the development menu to use an agent switcher for IE.

I have read some reports of Nonthaburi not processing online reports. People have never gotten an approval after doing it online.

Try it may today again. Had the same problem. 13 days before the date it did take my report without a problem. !? ;-)

.... and if it's to far, send the papers by post.

  5. On a related point, I have had repeated experiences of transactions recorded in my Bangkok Bank passbook being overwritten by subsequent transactions where the overwritten transactions had been inserted at a machine which at that time was in desperate need of a replacement ribbon. Is this a common problem and, if so, how do those relying on the 800k bank balance method of proving finances get along with Immigration at annual extension of stay time where transactions occurring during the critical seasoning period have been overwritten?

A hopefully academic point in my case as I prove my finances at annual extension of time on the basis of an Embassy letter confirming minimum 65k monthly income. But there have been reports on here on Immigration asking to see the passbook in conjunction with an Embassy letter - although, to date, I never have been by my local office.

Sorry, i do not understand the pr0blem in your first point. Normaly the immi dos not look at the bank book. They do look at the writhen statement of the bank.

  6. I think you are all missing the point here.

This is a notification of another quality tourist arriving in Thailand. coffee1.gif

the question is, what did the Thai's do to him when he arrived? was he allowed to stay or put on the first flight back to is country? I am beting that the Thai's let him stay!

They put him on the bus to Pattaya, that's where most of the quality tourist go.

    cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Another to Jessi's question - they fined him a small amount (500? or 1000? THB) and he was allowed entry. Since his conduct didn't happen on Thai soil, there was no reason to refuse him entry. He also didn't attack any of the cabin crew. It also appears that he won't face any problems flying back to Switzerland on THAI on his return journey.

    1. The problem is, that the Thais are not educated. They had 2 houers time to clear the problem!!

    2. They think, that they can handle customers same sclaves. And if they think, they put them a nive in der body!

    3. ......

    3 A.

4..... Thais never should be allowed be allowed air-assistants.

    .....

  7. Bravo TAT. Another quality tourist arrival. clap2.gifclap2.gifclap2.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

    What a weird comment!

A drunk Swiss scum on a flight is the fault of TAT?

Then TAT should be blamed for the likes of you and you been in Thailand too.

    bah.gif

TAT is not even good for open toiletts and smokingrooms. How they should be responsible for something

    else!?

Where you come from WhhizBang: Nord Korea? If it is like this. Sorry. gigglem.gif I do say nothing, about you - CAN'T

DO NOTHING ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION AND NOTHING ABOUT MINE.

Normaly i would say nothing to your comment. But it looks like that you do not know, that in no free countries

(ex. may USA facepalm.gif ) do chain peoples! Only the US is the country in the west, we shoud send to rest for ever.

  8. Swiss from ..... Thai-Air- m.... tied up -

I know now, why i will not fly with Thai anymore! Not only that i wait for more then 1 1/2 years

for more the more then 20000 mails ( i am waiting for since they promiced me the voucer)

They had 2 houers time to calm, the guy down!!!!! What they did - they did sleep, as all the time.

They had 2 houers time to do something! - Did nothing! Thet could land, ..., ..... , .......!

I hope, that this will be a very expensive expirience for Thai.

We all ..ow that T...land .. the moste intelligent country in all of the world........

  9. I would overfly S. Thailand for reasons others have said: To avoid the long drive and for safety.

The kids will get tired of the car even though they aren't real young. I wouldn't plan on spending all day in a car, day after day.

I might land in Bangkok and spend a couple of days there and then drive to Chiang Mai and explore from there as recommended above.

Sorry, i do realy not like Chiang Mai anymore. Became a big money makeing machine after a guy took everything for

make all the money for himself.

Please NS do not misunderstand me. There are very nice places too! giggle.gif

But if i would go the first time to Thailand, i would prefrere sea and beach for the beginning. There you have all the

different lifestyles. - And stay far away from bombs !!

  10. Sorry, i know Thailand is not expensive (at the moment). ..... but save?

If you like to come here, do not try make to much!

The time is very important! Different and a lot different places!

Hotels: 3-4000Bathh/day in Nov., Dez. (Jan) go down in Feb. to 800-1000 Bath/day)

If your children like the wather - spend any days in KO Lanta and make may 1-2

tours by boat. ;-) There are the prices after the season still O.K..

It's not easy, but try to let the touristplaces out -(may) not so easy for your daughter.

I wish you all a nice time.

    Greetings Peter

Let us for a moment assume that they were convicted by a real court, on real evidence - not by a mickey mouse court, <deleted>land style.
The death penalty would still be a horror, an abomination.
But it would be a horror, an abomination that is not high on my list. After all, those people were serial murderers.

You've lost me there, who murdered who ?

Drug sellers murder their customers. Slowly.

    Are you crazy!?
