  1. If you would have known, how I understand you. It's real in SPb-Thai-office they require the registration in SPb. It's problem for all people in Russian. According the constitution of Russian, any citizen has right for free moving but the institute of registration is violating our rights I how I can see the rights of foreigners too. Maybe you should use service of some websites which can make you Thai visa. But, how I know you will be should to send your passport by post, I think it's not good.

I would just fly in and get your 30 day entry stamp...then a few days before expiry, head on down to Penang (by van or air) and get a tourist visa and return for another 60 days. These will give you the 2-3 months you want.

Of course, The Thai embassy in Moscow and the Peterberg's consulate should be able to issue you a tourist visa, which also gives you the time your require.

I'm wondering if anyone can comment further on FarangBuddha's post. I have contacted the consulate in Petersburg and they cannot give me a visa as I am currently registered in Moscow, 500 kilometers or so away (long story).

In any case, it would be far more convenient for me to just fly to Thailand as FB suggested, then apply for a visa in Penang after arriving there. Would I run into any issues applying for a 30 or 60 day visa in Penang?

Thank you for all your help. You guys are all great.
  2. I'm Russian and I appreciate your opinion. I have read this topic, and I think that everything you say here is true. My folk, or rather most of it is really rude. That is why, when a Russian man sees other Russian man, he usually tries to leave (go away) and never shows that he is too Russian. In order to not show that he from the same group of rude people. It is pity, but it's reality. Of cause, I am from the same group.

  4. Hello

    My name is Dmitriy.

May be anybody can help me?:))

I am going to live in Thailand (Bangkok and Pattaya) for one years.

The main reason of my future stay there is a learning of my child.

I would like to buy a used car and then to sell back a car in the same place in one year.

I not mean "trade in", I speak about repurchasing at reduced price in one year.

    Thanks a lot.

  5. Hello.

May be someone had a similar case?

Generally speaking, I bought a motorcycle (Suzuki Hayate) last year.

And then I had to come back to my country. I left the motorcycle on private parking next to my condo (Pattaya) and I disconnected accumulator.

And now had already passed 9 months.

How you think, I will need to change the accumulator?

Approximately it how many can cost?

One more time -May be someone had a similar case?

  6. Sorry.

I have made mistake in my last message.

28 bath per sqm per month.

    Certainly per a month. :)

If I pay for one year in advance I will get discount for one month free.

  7. I bought my motorcycle last year and had received all package of documents at once.

Among of documents i found small square piece of paper on which are printed big figures 2552.

I think you met this document it frequently fasten with motorcycle.

Whether I should change this document this year?

And what is this the document?

  8. I apologize for my English.

Why not a citizen of Thailand? Why only a foreigner?

I see - (correctly me if I'm wrong guys): If the condominium ownership is already 51% Thai/Company and 49% Foreign, then you can't convert a thai owned unit into a foreign owned unit when you buy it. This is why I said make sure you buy a foreign owned condo as it is much easier to change the title and still keep it in a foreign name.

    Thank you very much.
