The users questioned whether the Thai laws for road traffic violations, which they believed are not strict enough. This has perhaps led people to not follow traffic laws strictly. The same thought was expressed by The Pattaya News, who stated that those who break traffic laws are not adequately punished.
Patsathi confessed to his mistake and this was recorded for evidence in a daily diary.
On the other hand, labelling a criminal offense a "mistake" when reporting the news may also be a factor why law breakers "are not adequately punished", what do you say The Pattaya News?

The department insisted that all its actions were legal and justified.
Justice Department jousting justifications is an unjustifiable maladjustment of justice which needs to be adjusted by the Justice Department..., that's just it.

Adith suggests a key strategy could be to divert tourists from these hubs to the country’s secondary cities.
Another strategy could be to burn some more forest, then the arrival numbers will self-regulate.

I remember this guy, former Science Minister, he had this idea to push floodwaters with a thousand boats down the river in 2011. Maybe inspired from an overseas trip...
Just imagine the ideas a bunch of Senators come back with from Europe, he knows it won't end well.

Pol Gen Kitrat confirms that everything is being done in due process of the law and the police investigation.
Thank you for assuring the public about "due process", "the law", "self-investigation" and stuff. It sounds so officious and seems to validate all of it. Yet, this statement has been trumpeted so many times by the RTP that the public could probably recite it by rote. Everything the RTP touches is done by the book and everyone in the RTP is corrupt. Go figure...

Tried today to make online appointment for retirement ext. at CW. The system is not sending out an OTP email to continue the process. Tried several times on PC with two different email addresses, cookies enabled, no VPN, checked Spam folder, no joy, can't proceed. Is this happening to others as well?

Every single time that I click on an Asean Now link, whether from the newsletter, or directly within the forum, I always get the "Subscribe to our Newsletter" pop-up. Dismissing it will make it reappear after a certain time. It's annoying as hell, especially since I am already subscribed to the newsletter. IMO, you should have a filter in place that prevents the pop-up for already subscribed members.
