PM claims wristwatch scandal not cause of Thailand’s downgrading in corruption index
He is quite right, you know. Prawit's corruption is a foregone conclusion.
The change in corruption index came from the way the government reacted, the how the NACC "investigated" and then cleared, the obvious and blatant double-standards employed.

The only recent combat experience were when they gang up on recruits and beat them to death, and the torturing of a couple of soi dogs.

They have a field for that? I wonder if one can visit it.
Probably have to pay 10 times the price of the ticket compared to a Thai.

So the NACC produced a cartoon to show they care about fulfilling their mandate and are working hard on behalf of (themselves? Prayut? the public? - just pick what suits you).
Then they went to lunch. It was scheduled.

were not related to politics, Deputy National Police Commissioner Pol General Srivara Ransibrahmanakul said
Srivara is preempting for the government. Of course when you forestall so clumsily it makes it obvious that the killing would be related to politics and Srivara is just the guy to handle that.
Deep thinkers they are not.

no formal approach has been made with Prayut
how to approach Prayut:
First you have to master Kung <deleted> and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
After building up your confidence, approach downwind, and stealthily tippy-toe into his august presence
Very important: No sudden moves! Just bow until he notices you.
Good luck.

This statement is usually reserved for officials, i.e. police..., now they are using it for athletes also - how about that.
