1. Thanks for all the info Guy's, at present using hot towel and immediately after ice over it, will try a Doc after few days.

you owe it to yourself to go when in Bangkok to vejthani hospital in lad phrao road where they offer excellent values and efficient medical services.......but they are in Bangkok and flying out right now may be too painful....XRays by all means.....

If you need to know more I will provide you with an excellent surgeon over there.

  2. Probably no more than going to most Thai schools.

Since Thai education remains bogged down in pre-Enlightenment pedagogics,

all new technologies are inherently dangeous to administrators, since they

might expose students to 20th century ideas.

By the good doctor's Luddite logic, it would be better to further stimulate

the senses of the poor children by abandoning inhibiting books and

classrooms altogether, and instead throwing them into the bush to

learn in the school of hard knocks.

Nothing like terror for heightening the senses! smile.png

when raising pets and kids the first two years are similar except in Thailand where boys are carrying on to PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, not listening neither having any discipline other than to eat, eat.......with girls quite similar even though they are not boys allowed to play, play, play.............

  3. Personally I am doing a lot more work since I have the use of laptops/smartphones, not relying any longer so much on my secretary but my own IQ is in regression and I can not memorize more than say five important telephones numbers when in the past i could do with hundred of them......yes many more change their numbers but still.....Kids need all kind of balls games, reading books and use their brains, memories not to use proxies or delegate to gizmos.

  4. NO ONE MENTION THE GENEROSITY OF SO MANY FARANGS, THINKING WITH THEIR HEARTS PRIOR THEIR HEADS CAUGHT IN THE VARIOUS, NUMEROUS THAI SO SMILING CLAWS, WHOM OF COURSE END UP SCREWED AND PENNILESS..........

LOL .... generosity?? How about stupidity, obsessions and pitifulness all in pursuit of young booty. If they gave out of generosity then they should be happy regardless if the women takes off or not when the money is gone. If they gave to try to control another person then that is on them and as long as they blame somebody else for their ignorance the longer they will remain miserable and pitiful and prone to believe the next young girl who comes his way is different ... well all accept for the need to continue to dish out loads of money to keep her around. Be it a car or a young girl, when people pay more than they budget, there is often buyers remorse.

life is either discipline or regrets..................

never mind idiots are caught here or brazil, africa......same same...but different. trust has to work from both sides and is earned........be a dreamer better with your head than your heart and carry on with your life.....

  5. electronic transfers should not take more than 2 days at the most from one bank to another bangkok bank.

I set up an account from Kasakorn Bang in Los Anglese Caifornia in the U.S. and to wire back and forth in either direction was 2 days and 3 at max.

Although it is much easer to set up an account with bangkok bank in New York and Kasakorn Bank in the U.S than it is here to open an initial bank, especially

sinice their ability to speak English in the year 2012/2555 is substandard to say the least.

GO TO THAI BANKS HEAD OFFICE NOT TO ANY OF THEIR BRANCHES.

  6. No one knew in advance what would be the extent of this year 2011 annual rainy season only those reading what was coming from other Asian countries like Philippines/Vietnam/Cambodia ( since 75% inundated )could anticipate.

All to busy CAMPAIGNING and no appropriate water management in place of course......That is the TRUTH !
Abhisit shouldn't slam anyone. The floods were going on when he was PM and he didn't do anything either except ride around in a boat and have his picture taken. He's a slime ball. He's still crying because he was thrown out of the PM position and can't stand it that the people do not want him. Except the Bangkok elite of course.

When as Abhisit riding around in a boat as PM during these floods? The flooding didn't start until the beginning of August, and that was only in the North and North East. It didn't start flooding badly in most of the central areas until mid September.

You can hate the guy if you want, but do get your facts right.
7.
P.S. I am shipping tons of medical supplies I purchased from my personal fortune that you kind people allowed me to amass whilst pretending to be acting for the benefit of Thailand. These supplies should be distributed free and I have instructed my people on the ground to forgo their usual commissions on donations and ensure that anyone in trouble gets the help and support they need.

I guess he forgot to add this.
What an excellent comment. Bravo and thanks for sharing your intelligent thoughts..

  9. absolutely common sense if only they were shipped to department stores put on shelves for sale....
Surely Duck eggs should be down in price

10.
We live near Foodland soi 9 and nothing to be seen there (yet)

checking out on a daily basis the canal behind The Mall Bangkapi only one day friday boats service was suspended as the water was at top limits and they could not go under the bridges but all returned to normal promptly with a nice current going quite fast downstream and absolutely no rains the past week though we are vigilant ourselves and we do not watch TV 24/7 rather depressing...High tide 28/29/30 of October will tests our nerves and will interfere with the flow going down the sea.....

  11.
Thanks for your quick response! As i mentioned before, there won't be any salary/income towards the Thai company owner or any other Thai person. So income tax on salary is not the point then i guess? Or do i see this wrong?

At the moment just investigating but planning to put this in place on very short notice.

It's not so much about Thai government finding out, they won't. I was just wondering if it is possible to do it in a legal way.

Our ANSWER on a private basis

I/ we have several decades of experiences with offshore and on shore set up of companies from London and to run them according to their individual economic reasons. Those days it is not acceptable to hear or read as an advise to do it and to do not think. You have to be international meaning the set up has to be created from an offshore base and nothing to transpire in national country of beneficiary origin. If Thai does it better it is not proved in Thailand the sources of expenses are from undisclosed origins. Second you have to use preferably the ccard connected with this offshore account not on the national country of beneficiary national. Finally it is over the time of pretending ( Thaksin and his lawyers did it eminently and that was easy for Thai Authorities to tax him heavily now LISTEN rules are based on beneficial final owner for everything done. Though THINK hard how NOT to be STUPID. Regards

  12.
Since when has the opinions of those outside of Thailand been taken into account?

Dont you think foreign confidence is damaged enough with the mis-management of this disaster?

With Thailand being in the international news about the flooding and being hammered by the UN etc, issuing a SOE is the right thing to do, let the Military be fully deployed where they are needed to help with evacuation, distributing relief supplies and repairing flood defenses. Yingluck needs to put aside her partisan politics and let the army help, instead of making a mess of things

absolutely common sense expressed with your comments. This PM is showing her in-aptitude to judge the priorities rightly.....
