  1. Again 2 out of 5 logos , this is now 7 days in a row , dont tell me this is random!

    Why not 1 out of 5 or 3 ?

    Im getting frustrated here .

Yes it happening to me now as well and for probably longer than 7 days ..... isnt worth the time, effort and the spam.

  2. Second hand remotes for TV's, DVD's etc, can be found at the Soi Bukhao Market on a Tues/Fri.

Stall is on the left hand side if entering from Pattaya Tai.

Also a larger stall at the weekend market on Thepprasit.

Take the old one with you, and he will more than likely have a replacement.

  3. There is a hot watch dealer at the rear of the market just down from the IT Centre. The market is opposite the Temple on 3rd road. You go right through to the back past the fish mongers and past the clothing and walk up and down the rear isle. He has a good shop there, ya cant miss it.

    Ya never know Phil.:whistling:

    What .... Mr Wongs ?

Been there decades, and I cant remember seeing him dealing in second hand watches, just very good fakes.

  4. It's probably been mentioned before but what if the customer takes pics of the jetski before they even get on it. That was there is surely no chance of any stunts being pulled?

But a lot of the time, it is the customers camera that is being used.

They take your photo with it, then hang on to it for safe keeping, but remove the card, photoshop it and return back to the camera.

  5. Its well known around town, that the best exchange rates for CASH is at TT Currency Exchange.

And that their locations are all central then much handier to find as well.

A couple on Soi Buakhao, one on Second Road, and one on Beach Road just up from Walking Street entrance.

  6. Beer shortage in the 7/11s around the Soi Diana/Soi Buakow/2nd Rd area yesterday evening. Many brands out of stock. Signs up saying that the distribution centre was disrupted due to flooding, so I think it's more a 7/11 problem than a brewery problem.

Hard to imagine Pattaya without beer.

Was thinking the same thing this morning.

Has the breweries in Ayuthaya been hit by the flooding, or are they still producing ?

  7. Any time I've been there it was always quiet so never a problem with service. Always a waitress hovering nearby. As for the food, I let my missus do the ordering and she lets them know exactly what she wants, so again I couldn't complain.

And, as you say, stunning location, especially after dark.

What amazed me most about C&C was the rice.

It was so overcooked it was just one lump of stodge, which really surprised me, as Thais are very fussy when it comes to rice, and if you cant get cooking rice correct, then ..... !

The Miang Kham appetizer is lovely, and the Roast Duck Mussaman is also very good.

But every other dish I have tried has been very bland.

My last visit, we turned up at 5.30pm picked a seat with a glorious view of the sun setting, after 5 minutes I went in search of a waitress, and when I found one, was told that the staff didnt start work until 6pm.

Every year I try C&C hoping that its improved .
