Watching BPL News on tv now. Mancini said if Shay Given wants to leave, he can't stop him. That means Shay joining Arsenal soon?
The plot thickens...

You miss me Ms Mig?
I was busy with work a bit. And now that the season is starting soon, I'll be posting more here.
-
Hi Ms Mig.
Glad to be back.
Looking forward to the start of the new season. Maybe we'll have more new players signing in the next month.
-
Great to see the boys get past Burnley.
Fab out due to 'hamstring scare'. But the rest of the boys soldier on. Bendtner was a disappointment.
I particularly love Arshavin's goal. Great angle. Great power to the shot. Hope Bendtner can improve and have the same quality as the little Russian.

If Almunia's playing for the rest of the season, it's safe to say we can finish in Top 3 and advance further in Champion's League. But if Fabianski's playing (knock on wood), I don't even dare to hope.
-
The talk of Fab moving back to Spain has been on for years now. And yet he stays at Arsenal season after season. So, I'm quite sure Fab's gonna stay put next season. With Chamakh possibly joining next season, VP recovering from injury, next season should be another good prospect for title race for us. But I sure hope Wenger sell Fabianski to someone. Or even offer him for free!!
-
Fabianski's flop overshadowed Campbell's fantastic comeback. He played very well, communicated with his team mates, made some key challenges, scored a goal, and played a full match. I hope we'll see more of Campbell for the rest of the season.
-
Didn't get my prediction right this time.
Campbell was superb. The 2nd Porto's goal wasn't his fault, IMO. One Fab was good, the other Fab was a flop. In the end the score is Fabianski (2) - (1) Arsenal.
-
The game just started.
Almunia out, Fabianski in. So that's something to worry about. Injured Gallas replaced by Campbell. Good on Campbell for making that crucial challenge just now. Keeping my fingers crossed.
-
My prediction for tonight's game.
Porto (0) - (2) Arsenal.
-
Miss Mig, I thought the game is on earlier too.
This particular song has been playing in my head since this morning. It's from Black Eyed Peas - I've got a feeling... That tonight's gonna be a good night...

If it's any consolation, at least we went down fighting against Chelsea.
I strongly believe Wenger should've bought a quality striker in January. He has the budget to do it. Even Fab asked him to buy a striker. And now I see that communication, or lack of it, among players seem to pose a bit of a problem. However, I still believe we can do it. Forever Arsenal.

How about Porsche Panamera? I see one regularly at my boss' condo. It looks... undecisive. It's as if the car is thinking: Am I a 911 or am I a Cayenne?

Yes goldmine. Fast and furious.

James, beating Chelsea is the priority this weekend. But beating Chelsea and MU to the title is main priority of all.
I think we're more prepared this time since the players have a proper, much needed rest. No new faces, no problem. The boys can do it. I'm pretty sure of it.
-
Almunia's form is very inconsistent. he can be brilliant in one game (away against Bolton), and terrible in another. But then again, he's the best we have at the moment.
2nd choice Fabianski is never ready for big games, or any game for that matter. So lets hope there'll be no more blunders from Almunia.
-
I hope we'll have better luck this time.
I don't think my heart can take it if we hit the goal post or goal bar this time.
-
Tonight's the night.
-
Consistency is the key. Gallas is not, IMO. Maybe Campbell can share his vast knowledge with Gallas and improve the French composure in big games.
I think we need to go back to our style of fast attacking football to slice open the opponent's defence. With Walcott still out, it's left to Clichy to provide the much needed pace.
But I believe we have what it takes to face the tougher opponents. Bendtner's return will be a significant one, I hope.

WalkingMan, I agree with you. I think it's suffice to say that everybody needs their comfort food once in a while.

My favourites:

OP's question makes me ponder : why are Thais so obsessed with Thai food when they're in Western countries? Or other countries for that matter.

Great result against Blackburn. We missed a few chances that could add to the scoreline but 2-1 is as good as it gets.
Credits to Iron Man Vermaelen for the extra hard work he put to make sure we get the 3 points.
With new guy Scuilacci available next game, i'm excited to see if his partnership with Vermaelen is the best one in the league.
