After you registered did you use the app ( "check registration" link ) to see that your registration was successful? When selecting the link you input your pink ID card number/passport # ( whichever you used to register ) and if the registration was successful it displays your appointment details, viz. date, time & hospital. My registration was successful, my appointment displayed and I did not receive any 13 digit code.
Me too!

thanks for all the responses - I'll check out Rimping Meechok again.

Thanks. Which Rimping? I have checked at Meechok several times but never seen it.

Been searching the usual suspects for filo pastry but no success. Does anyone know a local stockist?

Does anyone know where to buy in CM?

I can't remember the name of the shop that did mine but if you drive past Bangkok Hospital on the superhighway and take the first U turn, it is about 50m on the left side. Excellent job and reasonable price.

Thanks for the sensible responses but there's always one who shows his real IQ level by a stupid response.
Ref Amorn, I have used them in the past but they only seem interested in the usual domestic appliances. I'll call by anyway, maybe they can advise me where to go.

I have a small detector device which works OK but the audio beeper has stopped working. Can anyone recommend a suitable repair shop?

Check out FB page Tony's BAR in Phayao. Tony is an Aussie guy who makes pies, sausage rolls etc and delivers to Chiang Mai.

I can't find any cured chorizo in Chiang Mai anymore. Can anyone suggest where to look - I have tried all the usual Tops, Rimping etc but no luck.

Found it on Shoppee but expensive!

I have been looking to purchase Masa Harina corn flour to make tortillas but everywhere seems to be out of stock. If anyone can point me to where it is available in Thailand I would be grateful. Lazada has it but only in large quantities, I only need 1kg bags.

Can anyone recommend a builder to make a doorway and install a door in an outside wall?

Just found the Monin Ginger Syrup on Lazada and ordered one bottle. Still hoping to find Stones or Crabbe somewhere.
-
Thanks, I will check it out after 30th. Meanwhile Google (Nigella Lawson) suggests that Monin Ginger Syrup mixed with sherry is a good substitute. Tried Hillkoff and Yok - lots of Monin flavours except ginger. My wife now checking Thai internet sources.

I'm looking for ginger wine to use in some Chinese recipes. Stones and Crabbe are the brands that I know in UK but happy to find any here in Thailand. Obviously not available during the alcohol sales ban but would be grateful for any leads.

Maybe not close enough for you but Dr Morgan at HCMC (Health Care & Medical Clinic) on Hang Don Road opposite the Geriatric Hospital provides excellent service and highly recommended.

Does anyone know where I could get new acoustic cloth covers made for my HI-Fi loudspeakers? I've tried local shops but no luck so far and the manufacturer no longer supports that model.

Its for a pizza oven so I will try making one out of an old coffee tin.

Does anyone know where i can buy a chimney flue cap to divert the heat out sideways? Lazada has some but way too expensive.

Does anyone know where to buy pancakes for crispy duck in Chiang Mai? Can't find any recent info on the internet and I have not found any in Rimping or Tops so far. Also, fresh duck is hard to find [none in Muang market] but plenty of frozen ones in Makro.

Try the friendly "Chiang Mai bread" bakery (https://www.happycow.net/reviews/chiang-mai-bread-chiang-mai-49091).
They produce what you're looking for, and I find it delicious even though it's clear it' not real cheese (made from almond "milk").And the bread --- hmmmm ...!
Thanks, I will check them out but pass on the bread as I make my own. Local stuff is too sweet for me.
