I had my first shot.
And I'm just about to get my second.
Nothing like a Tequila shot before breakfast.
which vaccine? No expat that has been injected seems to want to answer that question, and we all know why. Good luck; at least it may make it easier for you to learn Mandarin mate.

because I don't care, so long as it's cheap for me and my present income, all the rest is irrelevant .

it does spoil them of course. Ours only eat asparagus tips, not the whole thing. They think that they live in the Ritz. HiSo dogs are a pain, but we love them dearly.

As far as I know, there is none of that particular vaccine in the country and will not be for a good while, so its all rather academic. I imagine that most expats will have found a way to get AZ by late this year, early next and so the private hospitals will have but a few who will take it up.

Was in Big C recently, boneless chicken breast 45b/ kg
Tesco, same product, 46b/kg and Makro around the same.
May be its just a local price issue, where are you ?
and that is cheap in comparison to UK/European prices

we feed our dogs chicken, pork and chicken livers, very cheap in comparison to good quality canned dog food, better for them too .

Me too,. Its a fraction of the price in UK and most of Europe and good quality. Not sure what the OP is expecting. Pork too, fillet is a third the price of UK.

Just let the embassies take care of us for gods sake!.
They have made it quite plain that it will never happen. They don't care about their citizens, not their problem is the attitude .

I would guess you will get a date and time although the time will be irrelevant. Take a book or two with you.
plus at least three packed meals and a sleeping bag.

Hardly, I am into travelling, flying, fishing, sailing and other pursuits . I came here for more than bars and restaurants. I can get those at home in UK and its rather sad if that is what ethers come here for.

Just had my haircut and my barber says she has registered for this. Queue number is approx 1,085,000. Claims vaccination date is august?
the date seems unlikely but she showed me the confirmation on her phone.
That date is most probably quite meaningless in the present climate of chaotic inefficacy, but good luck to her, I hope its true

yes indeed, not much change. I am not a bar/eating out person, so I haven't seen much change in my lifestyle this last 18 months.

I'm having to be very relaxed about all this now. I predict (on no evidence whatsoever) that farang expats will get vaccinated sometime in January next year, bar those that have managed to wriggle through this chaotic system in place right now and have managed to fill themselves full of the Chinese stuff. I also further predict that we will be paying upwards of 3,000 Baht if we want a choice of vaccine. So, I will keep clear of crowds, markets, bars and most in door restaurants (unless few people around, only outside tables and in a cool breeze) , and incidentally Bangkok/Chang Mai/Udon, etc, until I do get vaccinated. It's risk mitigation time for the next 6 to 9 months
