Yeh, plane sailing .... .
I bought a new ADV 350 when they first came out - sold it 6m later .... too big and bulky for riding round Pattaya - Was ok for "rides out", but a geared bike like a Honda CB500F, would be far far better ..... Have ridden a Zontes 368G back to back to an ADV 350 (out of town) .... pretty much identical performance, round the twisties ADV 350 better ... standard equipment level on the Zontes way way higher then the ADV ..... Already has a retirement extension - don't via an agent who sort the finances ...1) You're on a tourist visa, over 60 and just received your first months pension from your home country and have thai bank statement showing it - if you multiply the amount by 12 - it exceeds the 800,000 baht requirement .. Is this enough to apply for a retirement visa ? (or do they insist on 12 payments going into the bank ? ) 2) - a 60 year old has 12 months bank statements showing total pension received of 500,000 baht - with a further 300,000 baht cash in the bank - is this acceptable to renew a retirement extension ? TIA ...looks an absolute banger, TBH ...You think you got problems .... Today, my Thai lady went to the 20b shop on the Naklua Road (removing her shoes on entry, as per the sign on the door)... When she got out - someone had stolen them ....stick with Honda or yamaha ...have you tried checking the tyre pressures ? not unknown for the shops to super over inflate them... in my experience (with correctly inflated tyres), the ADV 160's suspension is pretty good ....Fiesta's of this age were fitted with the "power shift" gear box - There were so many problems with the gear box, clutch pack and the black box that controls them, that Ford changed 1,000's of them under warranty and were subject to Class actions in Thailand, USA and Australia .... One expert said "it's not a case of if there will be a problem but when..." Personally i'd stick clear of Fiesta, Focus and Ecosport between 2012 and 2016 after which Ford used a different gearbox. So - I'd got for the MG - pretty decent spec for the price ...I'd agree - i gave up posting eons ago - far to many idjuts for my likingUpdate: Exhaust/cat SOLD ..... Just 1 item remaining: 19) - Original KTM Fan - Brand new stil in box - Receipt for 4,100 Baht - 3,250 Baht ..UPDATE ...... Most items SOLD ... Just these two items left: 16) - Original pre- silencer and CAT - 1,000km - like new - 750 Baht and: 19) - Original KTM Fan - Brand new stil in box - Receipt for 4,100 Baht - 3,250 Baht .. .
