Sorry to hear about your loss. We also lost my niece's pet rabbit to a snake last week in Phuket. A little bit more than a bite as the bad girl Python swallowed it. Quite a scary beast to appear in the garden:

Not sure if the rules have changed but I flew Phuket to Chiang Mai 10 days ago. Fully vaxed with 2 AZ jabs. No tests. Registered with the CM Chana app. Only had to show the SMS for that registration on arrival at CM airport. Although still quiet, the pubs, restaurants and coffee shops seem to be starting to open up.

I received my parachute wings in the late 90's when taking a group of students for a weekend of "training" at an army training camp at Pak Chong. You simply had to jump from a very short zip-line to qualify. Mind you, I can't imagine the watchman ever doing that ...
