First shots are certainly outpacing second shots.

Perhaps because the authorities want as many people as possible to have at least a minimum of protection, perhaps because they want to claim as many people as possible have been “vaccinated”.

I have pretty much given up trying to work out why they do what they do. It’s all a Rubik’s cube to me.

To be fair, the vaccination program only really kicked off around 6 weeks ago. If there is a 12 week gap between first and second doses then it will be the end of August before the bulk of the second doses kick in. From September onwards expect first doses to slow dramatically.

Photo Essay: Thais wait in long queues to get Covid tested

Even if you hadn't been infected before, by the time you actually get tested, you may test positive.

I guess it's the same principle as when driving. If you leave a safe distance in front of you to the next vehicle then some Somchai is going to cut in and take that space.

Can anyone tell me how to put a poster on ignore? I can’t seem to find it in the system.

Go to 3 horizontal lines top right.

Then account. At bottom of list is ignore users.

I know you knew that but I'm guessing many folk are looking for that.

Perhaps never needed it before until Now.

Just hover your mouse pointer over their avatar  -an ignore user option will pop-up.

I would be worried that the numbers and cases are not being reported as they should be in Phuket, and this is in light of the ministers who flew back from Phuket being on a flight with another person who was returning from Phuket and was found to be positive for the virus.

Isn't it more likely that they brought the virus with them rather than caught it in Phuket?

The bookings account for 90,861 room nights, with 2,787 people in Patong sub-district, followed by 1,193 people in Choeng Thale and 896 others around Karon beach.

In a previous calculation they were taking the total number of room nights over a 14 day period so 90,861 "nights" may translate to 6490 people, which seems about right.

Beats me why anyone would choose Patong or Karon, which are still largely closed. If I was coming to Phuket I would head for Rawai, where the situation has remained relatively "normal" with the expat community helping to keep things ticking over.
