  2. Being legally married for 11 yrs will be a major bonus in getting a visitors visa to Australia. She cannot work on this visa. However if she wants to stay long term in the future, then apply for permanent residence(based on marriage) or partner visa once she has landed in Australia. Both applications will entitle her to an interim bridging visa( on which she can work) but are quite expensive:ie around $8000 AUD. Short term not worth it but long term maybe

  12. Yes, dont apply in Thailand as it will only make things more difficult. As previous person said bring her to Australia on a visitors permit and then apply

  15. hmmmm... from memory a beer for breakfast is more tasty than usual as your taste buds are not sullied by other things. However. I wouldn't recommend it as it leaves you feeling very tired later in the day (classically you are supposed to keep on drinking for the rest of the day to stop this happening, so each to his own
