Two years ago I had this procedure in CM RAM with placement of a Xience V everolimus stent.
Total cost 200.000 baht.

Has anyone tried these guys: http://ereaderthailand.lnwshop.com/
or
would it be better to order one fromAmazon, have it sent to someone in the United States, who then sends it to me by USPS
The model I want (paperwhite) is not available for international shipment direct from Amazon.
Thanks for any advice.

Ordered a Kobo glo yesterday. Delivery time 18 days.
Quick reaction to emails so just hope for the best.
Seems to be someone at CMU.
Reason for not Kindle is the limited support for other formats, I prefer the EPUB format.

I've had really good luck with the professional work done by the one that's across from the Thursday market on the moat before you get to Siam TV (on the same side), big open front with lots of pictures so pretty easy to find if you look over there
Used this one as well with good results

At Makro the Grana Padano is 750 a kilo and the "made in USA" parmesan goes for 590 a kilo at pieces of about 1.5 kg.

They have a branch on the superhighway.
Coming into town from the north on the 1001 from MaeJo when you reach the super where the former RAM2 hospital is, turn left and less than 100m on your left.
Big place with big parking, inside nice and stylish.
Food ? for me it confirmed that I much prefer Thai or Japanese food, but each to their own

Bought Boliden SMF battery on the road to the railway station a year ago, Charoen Muang.
Coming into town, pass the Superhighway there are some battery shops on your left, first or second, not sure.
For a pickup truck.

Yes, that is the road into the Jaeson NP. You also pass TharnThong lodge which is a beautiful place to have lunch. I sometimes go there just for lunch even if it is quite far.
If you follow this road (4074) past the Jaeson springs it meets the 1252 where you can go left and all the way back to the Doi Saket - Chiang Rai road. Before you get there you can go left to tambon Thepsadet here are many small villages that grow coffee and e.g. at the end of the year they picked the beans that are laid to dry everywhere you pass.
Great ride but in winter it is really cold

The distance CM - CR is just over 180 km and a bit over 2.5 hours, 3 if you take the usual coffee break at the Charoen resort.

Since the 18th of this month we no longer have a consul in Chiang Mai as Peter van Loo quit this "job"
as it was claiming too much of his time.

I recently read a scientific paper concerning the 2007 smog in the Chiang Mai area, they stated that for the fine dust 50 to 70% is produced by local/regional fires, 10% from vehicles and the rest “long range transport”
Not sure how they arrived at these numbers but it seems very clear that a lot can be done inside Thailand

We pay 1000 a month, they come 3 times a month cut the grass, trim the trees and bushes and a long hedge.
remove fallen leaves etc.
They come with 5 or 6 people and equipment and do our plot 190 sq. wa and my neighbours 140 sqw in about 3-3.5 hours
Very satisfied with their work, I think they only work in our moobaan.

The other one is run by a Swiss guy Robert, more information here:

If you want locations of the measuring points in the Ping basin you will have to look on the RID site. They have an XLS file with all stations and the rough GPS locations, description of the location and since when operational etc.
water.rid.go.th/hyd/list_station/ping.xls
not sure if links will survive on this site but otherwise Google Mae Taeng P.70 P.65 and it will be your first hit.

There are many shops in CM that install sat dishes I guess they would know how to source a DM clone.
Or you could buy mine, DM 800HD PVR with a 320 GB Samsung disk.
Used about six weeks, for 4K Baht you run little risk to try this out, if this is what you want.
PM me if interested.

Also the Mae Kuang res. if far from full, so no reason at all to release water.
Besides, if they do it will join the Ping well south of the city, they might not like it in Lamphun but it is not relevant for the water level in CM

Guy fishing seems to be a reliable source.
The Mae Gnat lake is not even half full, so it really can use some extra water.

To have the building permit in your name is also in Chiang Mai no problem.
I have a similar set of papers in Chaing Mai Muang district.
Needed a letter from my partner because the land is in her name.
Had no need for legal support, most of the paperwork was handled by our builder and the proces was smooth and no "hidden costs"
This was three years ago.

Hmmm… strange story.
Sure Atorvastatin is available in Chiang Mai. I changed from Simvastatin, brand name Bestatin, to Atorvastatin, brand name Atorsan a couple of weeks ago after using simvastatin for 10+ years.
And yes after consulting my cardiologist here in CM who advised this medicine and not after (only) reading some webboards
Bought it at my regular pharmacy on Ratchdamnoen, the road from Tapae gate to Wat Phra Singh, about 50 meters from the gate left hand side, it is the first pharmacy with some very helpful and knowledgeable ladies.
The 10 mg version was available, Atorvastatin is more expensive than simvastatin. Luckily I never had any noticeable side effects of either medicine.

As far as I know the procedure as per post #5 is standard. Also there seem to be two death certificates. The first one is made up by the physician in the hospital or the police doctor.
On basis of this the registrar at the district office issues the more legal one.
The documents are named Thor Ror 20 and Thor Ror 4

P.S. I admire what you did for your dad

Just returned from the registration procedure in Chiang Mai.
Last week I tried first at the SuanDok hospital and was sent to many places but in the end they had to admit that they did not know about is. I had with me a copy of the directive of the minister of health.
Next try was at the Nakornping hospital. This is the provincial hospital and there they knew about it and had no problems with me being a foreigner.
Went back today with copies of my passport, fresh certificate of residence from Immigration, copy of my partners ID card and a copy of her tabian baan.
Went to registration, blood and urine was collected and an xray taken. Paid 600 + 2200 and got a note to come back next week to pick up the card.
In the end they did not use the certificate of residence or the copy of the tabian baan of my partner.
So: not married and no yellow tabian baan but no problem registering.
