Every pipeline built in the US is an environmental disaster, look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pipeline_accidents_in_the_United_States_in_the_21st_century#2017
It's okay this time. A Canadian company is building it. So no worries about quality and design.

I prefer to trust the vast majority of the world's leading climate experts who say climate change is real and happening thanks.
On the other hand, it's also reasonable to go with real science.

Why, because they're thinking about repatriating your illegal peoples? Would you not do the same with illegal Americans?
I think that in general they don't want any of the illegal immigrants returned to Mexico. They seem to definitely not want non-Mexicans who entered the US from Mexico to be returned to Mexico.
My personal opinion is that returning Mexicans that entered illegally or stayed illegally to Mexico is standard practice and defensible. If some Canadian entered from Mexico and that entry was illegal or if that person stayed illegally - that's a trickier question. Do you send them back to where they came from (Mexico in this example) or to their own country (Canada in this example)? Does it matter whether the Canadian was in Mexico legally (tourist?) or illegally (snuck over the border from Guatemala or boat from Cuba?)? I don't know.

I thought that the new route was to avoid sacred ground. Google isn't of any help to me here. If Thai PBS is to be believed, it's still an issue.

The US will soon be neck in neck with Thailand in the race to the bottom in education.
There are also people who believe, sincerely I think, that this is a step towards better quality education i the USA, especially among the disadvantaged (ie minorities, inner cities). Hopefully the end result is improvement.

So if it was well planned, and failed so badly, then it must have been the execution and management of the plan at fault.

Truth or Fake News? Time will tell.

Morocan or French Canadian...some may call it BS, others call it "alternative facts"!
In fact there were two suspects arrested. One was French Canadian, one was Moroccan. The Moroccan was later released once Police figured out that he had nothing to do with the attack. It's further complicated by the fact that early reports said there were 3 shooters. So FOX needed to get their facts and timeline straight, alternative facts not needed. No excuse as far as I can see for not doing a retraction. Another example of the harm that can be done in the rush to get a story out there asap.

I'd recommend reading the executive order. It's interesting looking at how the contents match up with comments. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/27/us/politics/refugee-muslim-executive-order-trump.html

Here's hoping that one day it will legal to brew beer at home. It would be great to be able to brew quality beer here.

Trump also like Kim Jong il because he killed his uncles. Hard to respect a man like that. But, he feeds right into people who are anti-establishment, anti-West, anti-US.
Comments from a sick individual.
Thanks for providing the quote. IMHO it disproves your position. It reads to me that Trump is saying that Kim Jong is competent and shouldn't be ignored. ie he's dangerous and shouldn't be treated by the US as a joke. Seems reasonable to respect enemies rather than ignore them.

The majority of the electorate did not vote for Trump. In fact almost 75% of eligible voters did not vote for Trump. Of those that did vote, about 1,800,000 more votes for Clinton have been counted so far, with more mail in ballots and provisional ballots still being counted. He did not receive a 'mandate' from the voters. In fact, he did not even have a plurality, much less a majority. He is only the 'winner' due to the form of voting that exists in the USA. The Electoral College meets on December 19 to cast their ballots. Still time for an upset as some US states require the Electoral College members to vote for their states winner, while some certainly do not. While it's possible that an upset may still occur to benefit Clinton, it's highly unlikely. You think the Democrats are 'sore losers'? If that turnabout were to occur, you'd see real violence from Trump supporters if enough of the Electoral College voters were to alter their votes based on the information that the poplular vote went to Clinton and not to Trump. If allowed to vote freely the results could be reversed.
Fox News site (CNN info is from the 18th) with current information (7:11 am EST at this time) is about 1.2 million difference. So it looks like the difference is shrinking. Interesting. You are probably correct that things would be far from pretty if the electoral college didn't vote the way their states are supposed to vote. That would probably be true in any of the historical elections - if they voted differently than the election results.

This article is based on an open letter from a Travel and Tourism celebrity. I should write one too. :)

A Putin Advisor Just Admitted Putin Hacked The DNC To Help Trump.

I would note that this is OccupyDemocrats - famous for fiction. This isn't even a quote from a news source, just an article they made up all on their own. So absolutely no credibility except as satire.

The science seems plausible. I would note that having someone buy a unit and comment on it here lends credibility as well.

Congratulations to your 150 US $ plastic Container (piece of crap). Read Amazon.com 1-Star comments! I got one from Japan, albeit only for cans, but it cools the can, and less than you paid.
Quite a range of comments at Amazon. Sounds to me like it probably works well, however perhaps the quality is low. One review in particular stood out as his first unit didn't work, but the replacement unit did. Maybe a good idea, and perhaps not the most reliable buy. Thanks for taking the time to checkout out the 1 star reviews.

This looks like Fizzics original http://www.fizzics.com/
Note that this one is supposed to accommodate large bottles (their new kickstarter, more portable waytap doesn't). Works from batteries
Looks really interesting.
Notice any difference with any local Thai beers?

The insurgents don't give statements.
Anthony Davis, a security consultant with IHS Jane’s, said the attacks were staged by the BRN, the most military-capable of several groups fighting for independence in the Deep South, in a bid to force the junta to recognize its demands and start a meaningful peace dialogue.
“What we saw was a watershed moment. The BRN has crossed the Rubicon, which is dangerous,” Davis said at the Foreign Correspondent’s Club of Thailand. “They are demanding Thai government respond to what happened, but today the government preferred not to respond at all. They fudge over it … instead of biting the bullet.”

So actually no one knows. This consultant obviously has an opinion. Fair enough. Lot's of opinions around.

So sad Thailand has chosen to go down this road...things were so hopeful when I first came here at the turn of the Millennium, with the recent enactment of the "People's Constitution." Those who did away with that constitution have allot to answer for.
I'm going home now to wait out today in safety.
The people planting the bombs have a lot to answer for. No excuse whatsoever.

He should just use the Clinton defense. "I didn't mean to do anything wrong so I'm not guilty".

This group should be applauded for having the balls to stand up against the military appointed government and it threats. Whether they will succeed or not, at least they tried which is alot more than the majority of the population who have allowed the military to once again ride rough shot over almost every law and all civil rights.
probably the most critical issue is whether they distributed copies of the draft charter or modified versions and secondarily what the modifications were.

Proof, the Republican Party has gone with the conspiracy nut model.
Endless, irrelevant speculation. It's always a conspiracy when their case evaporates into thin air.
The evidence is always links to other conspiracy sites or fake news channels. LOL.
They swear, everybody that doesn't agree with their ridiculous conspiracy theories are sheep watching 'lame stream media'
Hundreds of thousands of legitimate journalists are all in on the plan to misinform the public...they all love that muslim terrorist Obama....
...only the conspiracy media and FOX news are reliable.
You might want to read the FBI statement yourself, carefully.

As this article from Forbes points out, moving oil has risks. Pipelines are the least risky (4.5 times safer than trains). So the choice would normally seem to be: don't use oil or oil products (no plastic, gasoline, heating oil etc) - which while a defensible position is entirely impractical at the moment, or choose the least risky method (or at least consider risk with costs and favour lower risk over higher cost).
The logic behind no pipelines seems to be do everything possible to limit the use of petroleum products, which usually means higher prices, and which usually impacts lower-income people more.
