Referencing an official government announcement, the Travel Authority of Thailand states to enter Thailand you need "A Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination/Recovery". And "Everyone 18 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand."

Is Astra/Zeneca on the approved list? 
Does one need a booster to be fully vaccinated?

Before getting the certificate, I read conflicting statements on what would be needed. For those topics of conflict, here is what I needed. TIT so YWMV.

I offered, and the clerk at station 1 kept copies of: data page, stamp of original visa transferred to this passport, current annual renewal, most recent entry stamp.

"* Document(s) certify that the applicant is working, used to work or residing in Thailand"

My Residence Certificate was in the pile of docs I handed to the clerk. She looked at it for a few seconds then handed it back. No idea if that document was necessary.

I needed the Police Clearance to apply for a residence visa in another country. My documents included: 1) The email response from their embassy referring to an attached document containing a list of requirements for a visa application, and 2) The attached document. Clerk read the email, glanced at the document before giving it back to me. No idea if that document was necessary.

In other matters, the US Embassy document on Police Cert has a map showing the office is in building #24. The gate guard told me it was in #7. The map is correct. Finally, if I ever have to be fingerprinted there again, I'm bringing a baggie of paper towels. The cloth towels where you wash off the ink were so black I thought they'd get ink on my now clean hands, and they were so wet as to be useless for drying.

Those are surface reactions. The red areas have the same skin feel as the surroundings. The red is under the skin.

The ones I've had and photos I've seen are all round with an obviously more damaged center spot around the bite.

They start out red and itchy. Mine started looking like a mosquito bite, i.e., skin colored.

Itching is a symptom of all of the above. Mine has the slightest itch on day 1, none since.

I do that. Always the same spot on my thumb. Looks like a shaved off a micro layer of skin. Never looked like a mosquito bite.

It opened my mind when I first heard it 3 weeks ago, but it's not an opening track. Only knew the Yardbirds original version. Humble Pie did an acoustic, 7 min interpretation.

Photo taken on day 5. Day 1 looked like a mosquito bite, though only the slightest itch. Red dots appeared on day 3, grew on days 4 and 5. Actual color is more like wine.

Austrian Airlines (OS for you frequent fliers) gave biz class passes this month. I had time to kill, so before going to immigration, I checked how long was the line for those in the back of the plane. O.M.G. It's good to be a priority customer.

Sure there is, if you're otherwise a legitimate pharmaceutical company. Make batchs with less, or no active ingredient, then sell for the full price. It's not the profit margin per pill that matters it's that profit times the number of pills sold.

Several times I've been sold counterfeit Ranitidine. It's easy to tell they're fake because they have little or no effect on my stomach acid. The ones I get from Boots always work, so I stopped buying it from Fascino.

I've twice flown business class round trip from BKK. Returning from SYD this month, Emirates gave a pass for the immigration priority line. Last June, on KLM from AMS, no pass was given.

In your experience, what airlines do and don't give passes for arriving passengers? When you flew probably is useful, don't know if the departure airport is.

Many online stores (excluding Thailand) now have low prices on the B+W 1st generation nano coated, brass bodied filters. Seems like B+W dumped onto the market their remaining stock.

I don't like buying on eBay things that could be fake. Selected a highly rated store and crossed my fingers. Well, the B+W website confirmed the QR codes on the filter boxes are valid, and the brass threads sound just like my B+W ND filter. They shipped the next day from Hong Kong. The B+W naming convention on the last generation filters is:

XS-PRO - thin mount, best for wide angle lenses. Has front threads. B+W has a newer, thinner mount without front threads.
MRC-Nano - Multi resistant coating. Nano is the nanotechnology based eighth and outer coating layer that makes liquids bead up better, so filters stay cleaner.
007 - uh .. the width of something. Newer somethings are 010.

Round, white on blue, that's a 'may'. It's the best answer, so I'd pick it. That's not absurd. Thailand, like many other countries, uses red on white signs for prohibitions, e.g., no U-turn, and stop signs. Black on yellow signs are warnings. Round white on blue signs are mandatory actions, e.g., turn left - but rectangular white on blue signs are informational, e.g. H for hospital. Why 2 classes of action for the same color scheme? Absurd? TIT.

I am a smoker,i am a foreigner,i live at the same condo, and yes i smoke at the outdoor pool, but i am adamant that i am neither ignorant or nasty.The only possible exception to my not being nasty is when i am told to stop smoking,then, by golly i can become Nasty with a capital H.

The ban on smoking at the outdoor pool is an infringement of my god given rights, and is totally unenforceable by anyone at all.I live here because , unlike in the west, with all the PC bullshit and erosion of ones rights one can do as one pleases.

Get used to it is all i can say.

Edit...i must admit though that i really hate when others see me smoking and follow my cue and near automatically light up, i mean hey, i do smoke, but i hate second hand and others doing it in my special spot!!

I live on Ramkhamheang, but the only reason I went to see star wars at Paragon was because I wanted to take pics with props which they wouldn't have where I live. I avoided IMAX because of previous experience and just went for the regular 2D. However, the entire time movie looked a little blurred.

I saw it at SFX Cinema Maya. During closeups of 2 person conversations, the focus would sometimes drift a bit in and out of sharp focus. Didn't know if this was a director's choice or bad projection.
