My mad ex #2 graduated from throwing plates at me to throwing knives at me. Plates I could handle, but a knife thrown while I had my back to her was too much. I opted for a more peaceful life...
Did she swear that you reversed into the knife?

Sickening and judging by results in the last election almost certainly untrue.
Perhaps the reporter misheard "we loathe you Uncle tool"

The local mafia who have been dumping bodies in oil drums are getting a little worried I'd wager.
Yeah, expect to see 'No scuba diving' signs going up very soon.

The only thing that's shocking is how easy it is that he can keep a straight face whilst feigning alarm.

I wonder how easy it will be for a Russian aircraft to obtain Boeing spare parts in Thailand?
Maybe Aeroflot can go along to Somchais Used Aero Parts in Suphanburi. They have plenty of barely used Boeing parts an Austrian gentleman donated years ago.

The falang mentality.
You mean pointing out Prayut says he'll keep the price of diesel below 30bht when it's been above that for some time?
BTW between 31 and 34.5 where I live....the locals aren't enjoying it at all.

Nonsense - the average death is OVER life expectancy. Below was from January 21 - ONS - it would be impossible for life expectancy to go down based on deaths above life expectancy !
Cumulative total of Weekly deaths by age band Age Bands Number of Deaths <1 2 1-4 1 5-9 1 10-14 5 15-19 11 20-24 34 25-29 70 30-34 117 35-39 195 40-44 369 45-49 694 50-54 1,284 55-59 2,186 60-64 3,231 65-69 4,596 70-74 7,633 75-79 11,066 80-84 15,374 85-89 16,547 90+ 17,404 Wrong, older people dying younger than they would normally drags down the average.
Edit...edwinchester beat me to it with a simple explanation.

Laughable

That could be interpreted as 50% but I know you don't mean that. It's the same...half of one-percent (written different ways).
You're wrong, 0.5% and 50% are entirely different by a factor of 100.

Should have bought some helicopter gunships rather than submarines.

Hi, does anyone have an idiot guide to the step by step process a Thai National with a young child has to go through to return to Thailand from the UK please?
They're aware they need to register at the Thai Embassy but then the guidelines get a little confusing regards the Certificate of Entry and booking flights.
Is there a health questionnaire that needs to be filled in as well?

Recently the EU offered the UK the chance to join their medicine buying consortium. The UK turned the offer down. As a consequence the UK is now paying $37 per dose for the Moderna vaccine whilst the EU pays $18 per dose. The UK's negotiating position seems to be constantly aiming for their own crotch.

Boris Johnson is the Prime Minister and now seems to agree with the Labour Leaders position after ridiculing it only last week in PMQs.

He and his gang should never have said there could be a loosening of the rules for Christmas. The evidence was against it but he said ok anyway. Now just 3 days after arguing against the Labour Leaders position he has done yet another u-turn.
His administration's leadership has been disastrous and has cost a huge number of needless deaths.

"The staff is also racing against time to replace water drainage pipes."
Just a suggestion. How about doing the required work before the rainy season starts?
-
Until there is no longer water enough to drink, enough food to eat, until rising sea levels force millions from coastlines then not enough will be done imo.
Desperately sad and unforgivable but those in positions of enough power to actually do something seem, for whatever reasons, not to have the will.

So if they are now told to register it begs the question why on earth weren't school bus drivers registered before?
Is it because there was no need or is it because there was such a requirement but that nobody have a <deleted> as to whether the regulation was enforced?

Exactly my experience with iLikehd

Air quality concerns threaten Thailand's tourism growth
in Thailand News
Posted
Where we are in Kanchanaburi the figure has been over 100 for ages and will remain that way for sometime. Air quality is appalling, all the kids at school have had sore throats, hacking cough and itchy eyes for weeks and nobody with the power to do something about the problem gives a <deleted>. Thoroughly depressing situation that seems to have no end.
