I know. But our favourite place for a break is now in a sandbox area so most likely will go T&G as well. Just don't want to get roped in.

Anyone feel like I do about going away for a break with all the T&G 'tourists' arriving. I'm thinking on the lines of if you book a hotel and a few others have booked it under T&G for their full 5 days and on day 5 a couple of them get the big bad result from the men in white suits, would you be concerned about being roped in for a test.?

overherebc replied to thoengthaied's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Maybe register a new email address, (Write all the details down ????) Only thing I can think of. Not even sure myself about that especially if he has paid already for hotels using his first email address. -

Thailand pass query
overherebc replied to HKexpat's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Go with HK ID and vax details. I would stick to one or the other. This is a new system so don't try to complicate things. Make sure your insurance ($50,000) covers you for asymptomatic hospital stay just in case. -
Dear Wuhan idiots. Just leave it in the bats.

Has anyone else experienced these post-Covid symptoms?
overherebc replied to 2long's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
Snotty nose for the past 4 weeks. Had two vax and probably booster this month. Never felt covidy? before the runny nose and never had a test. Maybe air-con too cold at night, her indoors going through the hot flushes time. -
Anyone renew an O/A visa this month
overherebc replied to Brer's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
So the only way to stay longer than one year with an OA without putting 800,000 in the bank or transferring 65,000 a month would be to go home and get a new OA visa. -

Thought the OA was the one that didn't require money in the bank? -

Anyone renew an O/A visa this month
overherebc replied to Brer's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Would that mean having 400,000 in the bank even if you have the required insurance for the original O-A? -

What's the deal with the O-A visa?

No money needed in the bank the main reason then. That fits. -

Maybe? if you're a single pensioner you can get the one year OA before you arrive in Thailand? Is a single pensioner more likely to be unable to take care of themselves? I don't know.
