External microphone would be good if the Fs 100 had a headphone imput as well and a acessory shoe. Without them it would be hard to get an improvement in sound with external mic.
sony sr11 is a great camera but not exactly pocket size but near enough. Footage from SD video cameras is really bad if you can't hold them very still.

Near 2 months to an interview, that seems a lot. We were expecting approval about 3 weeks after the interview based on what others had indicated on TV. When we rang at 3 weeks to enquire they said that there are delays because of a lot of applications, s0 5 weeks waiting after interview.
-
Our application was reasonable straight forward. Long term de facto relationship, 4 months married.
Put in our application 1st June 2009
Contacted for interview on 5th June
Interview on 19th June I think or there abouts, 2 weeks after 5th June
Approved 22nd July, notified by phone.
Pick up recommended on 24th July 2009.
So that's about 52 to 54 days (7 to 8 weeks) from application to visa issued
Hope that helps somebody

The festival orgainiser takes out insurance during the period. I think a few people get killed every year in the northeast region by rocket accidents and sometimes rockets land on cars and houses. They divert airline flights as well around the festival time.
The casing is 6 inch diameter PVC pipe about 12 feet long. It probably weighs several kilos and then several more added with the 20 foot bamboo tail

I had to pay it a few years ago for my mp3 collection in a ksr cafe. Think the yearly fee for foreign music was about 1200baht while the fee for thai music was over 5000baht. The licence guys had some official looking ID and came with a uniformed cop. They said they would send a official sticker to put on your window to say you have paid but mine never came and I never got hit up for the following years either. It's a very grey area but if you don't pay the cops take your music equipment.

I think the closing hours depend on the bank but definately extended hours to 7pm (some to 8 or 9pm I think), 7 days a week.

My Bangkok experience, don't know if it's relevant
If it's an old shophouse the drainage to the road might be shared with the neighbour, problem if person next door has food business sometimes if they dump their waste oil.
If on a busy road/street spend some time on the second lvl at different times of the day if you can as you may be unhappy with the amount of vibrations caused by road traffic especially buses, same goes for neighbours noise level.
Find out about how high the street water gets when it rains hard.
Camcorder Recommendations?

I like to tripod a lot as well but I find footage from hand holding the sr11 is very stable, though when I hand hold I concentrate a lot to keep steady.
I use an external ATR55 mic and find headphones a necessity for making sure you record the right lvl of sound.
