Amongst all the broadsheet claptrap that has been printed over the past day or so, I read a really good article online that reveals a warmth and affection beneath his brusque exterior:
I thought The Guardian's coverage was excellent.
I gave up on the Quietus article at "My first Fall albums were 1999's The Marshall Suite, swiftly followed by 2000's The Unutterable, which I still count as my favourite Fall LP..."
But what would I know...

So Einstein, can i use every piece of land nobody else wanted/owns?
You have to start wondering if somebody on this forum grows oranges

Chop it all down. Plant real trees, the forest will recover eventually. The last thing you want is for people to profit by raping the land.

Restore the forest while you're clearing your farm

I guess it saves the BiB getting off their asses, out of their police boxes & doing some actual, real time law enforcement

Loads more hilarious videos on Youtube, coming soon

Don't let them see you're pissed off by them, or they'll keep coming back just to annoy you. We get them flying low over our house in the rice fields every weekend & holiday in cool season. Freaking nightmare. 6.30 in the morning & some wnker flying 30m or lower above the house! And then again at sunset. Given up sitting outside for sundowners
Love to see one crash ;-)
Why can't they try it w/o the engine, & find some thermals?

A good rice soup is a great trad Thai breakfast. Sick folk get the watered down version. Lots of ginger, garlic etc....

LOL, there was a Hard Rock Cafe here back in 1991. T-shirts for sale in night market. Sounds like this place is jumping on the bandwagon

Surely, it's the accused that need police protection

Try the new Decathlon store in Tesco Lotus, Hang Dong road. They have a selection of Btwin bikes.

There are 2 shops in the parking lot. One or the other will have them. They are seconds or B-grade. I've never been able to spot a flaw on their goods.
Plus one for Big C extra carpark. Might even be somewhere near there to service your minibus

5 minutes ago I spotted at least 30 lanterns in the air from my balcony , so it looks to be business as usual here in Chiang Mai .
30! Sounds like LK is cancelled!
Dead as a dodo out where I live.

Decathlon do have a website. It even tells you whether a particular item is in stock at the Chiang Mai branch. How hard is that? No need to ask on TV :-)

Here's an idea. Everyone get their Thai better half to respond on social media, explaining that this wouldn't have arisen if at least 50% of the Thai population weren't complete dipshits when it came to trying to drive a car, truck. minibus or motorbike on public roads

Not necessarily, they already issue work permits for 3 years. It's only a logical step to do this for visas for long term residents as well. It is certainly driven by the need for more efficient processes rather than more administrative effort like different requirements for deposits. But if it happens, who knows. That guy in Dubai could have made it possible as he did for the general population...
Logical

They'll probably demand 5 x 800.000 bht deposit

Tourist volunteer police now wearing wings...

That is strange, I wasn't aware they had a visa application centre in Bangkok, I thought they just partnered with VFS like a lot of others.
He's probably suggesting they contract out all extensions to agents. A great help & typical UK solution
