Just to let any prospective parents know how the boys would turn out, this is their older brother and sister. These pics always reminded me of that scene in the movie. ???? Basically to show that they are strong athletic dogs when matured.

Due to a time waster stalling taking a pup for a few months I have 2 full bred Thai Ridgeback Pup free to a good home. Choice of 2 boys with very different personalities. Both are healthy happy boys, both pups love people. Mr Buddy is a very chilled kid, never runs to the gate barking but calmly surveys what is happening. I should have named the kid Wyat [Earp] because he calmly watches what is going down. Clam, brave, obedient, not greedy and smart boy. Mr Scrappy is more of a livewire, guard par excellence, nothing gets past him, loves to hunt and play, very strong kid. Both pups are socialised, can be stroked while eating and have basic commands. These pups were not inbred western dog breeds, they come from a very diverse gene pool. Re littermate syndrome, I have seen no issues with my dogs. I had 2 pups got too 2 homes from the last litter and they had zero issues. One of the current pups was away for a week but I was unhappy with his circumstance, had given him to a Thai family who promptly sold him to an unsatisfactory owner so I took him back as that was not the agreement. The rest of the pups were all over him on his return and there has been no scraps, even over food. I have a brother and sister that are almost 2 yrs and have no issues, they even share a plate of leftovers and lick it clean. I firmly believe littermate syndrome is due to confined spaces, these pups have a good space to run and lose and aggression. I think that would be a polar opposite if they were caged. The remaining pups still often sleep curled up together. The alpha dog syndrome has been shown to be directly linked to available space, wolves are much less alpha than people think and wolves will even allow male dogs from other packs to join their pack.

I am in BKK but plenty of delivery options or meeting part way. I don't see it as an issue for a friend one would have for 15yrs.

Free to good people. I found them easy as pie to train. After reading online about their supposed difficulty I thought they would be difficult, not at all. Excellent walkers, mine run by the bicycle with no issues. I'm not much of a tricks type of owner, just useful commands but I was surprised how quickly they learnt all the basics. I've seen a couple of Thai fellas who have trained theirs to walk off lead through the city and shopping centers.

Next is Harry, get's that for Harry Houdini, he is an escape artist. Sharp as a tack this kid, he can reason most any puzzle. Loves people, very affectionate. Loves some space. Stocky fella so will probably have more muscle than Mr Flash above.

First up Mr Flash. This boy is so athletic, already wiry and fast, even at his young age. He has great speed and an amazing jump. He could lift a hare with ease when older. Loves people and a little live wire. Fearless. Thumb/foot comparison so you can see he will be a 24-27 kilo dog.

Depends on food and vaccinations. Dogs on average live 50% of the years they did in the 1970's. Yearly vaccinations are totally unnecessary and can cause a lot of issues with dogs, cancers being one of the biggest. Puppy vaccinations should last the dog for life, but then vets would lose a fortune on yearly jabs. The American Veterinary Assn did actually do the right thing and say this once, for about a fortnight, then they retracted it under a tsunami of push back from vets. How many measles and tetanus jabs have you had? Definitely not every year! My dogs get their puppy jabs and a titer test every 6 yrs. Kibble, irrespective of the brand, is total rubbish, it's like giving them McDonalds every day. Dogs never need to eat a carb in their entire life but kibble is full of fibre and totally disrupts their stomach acidity and is simply terrible for them. So that is another massive factor in longevity. So for a Thai vet who sees dogs jabbed yearly, fed kibble and rarely walked, 13 would be positively Methuselah like. Unfortunately I have to update this thread. I let 2 of the pups go to a local who received 2 happy healthy confident pups. When I went to take them back a month later they had been abused, underfed, obviously hit and in the final stages of parvo, as he let them around infected dogs before they had been fully vaxed. Hospital gave the dogs 5% and 20% chance of survival. Long story short and 200k later both dogs came home alive. Since then I built their health with a good raw meat diet and built their confidence. Now the male Ben is ready for a new home. I would have loved to have kept him but his father is not having it and has already bit him, big dogs don't mess around so I have to abandon that dream and find him a good owner. Gutted because I was enjoying working with the kid, but I should have known better. He is a happy healthy dog, brave, highly intelligent, easy dog to train. Loves a walk more than any dog I've ever seen! Boy goes crazy when I reach for the running shorts. Prone to Zoomies! 555 Ben is now 8 months, still very much the pup in temperament and would easily integrate after a few days. He is extremely caring, his owner should expect an endless show of affection once accepted. Clean dog who has great toilet training. You think Mayo is beyond reproach and free from avientific bias, coercion and bribery? Need to rethink that. PUFAs from seafood are high in omega 3, that is a world away from the massive omega 6 ratios in cooking oil which can be as high as 1:70 for O3:O6. It is the oxidising omega 6 that does the damage. The mediteranian diet has no advantage over other real food diets, it has always been compared to the SAD diet to perpetuate the myth. This dates back to the days of Ansel Keys and his bizarre cholesterol theory. I recently had a full blood panel done after almost 2 years PUFA veg and carb free with an exclusively meat diet. My results were better than optimal, triglicerides of 58, HDL trigliceride ratio of 0.8 (2 is considered good, lower the better). I have zero cardiac plaques. My diet seems to be working just fine. Re the Inuits, it is worth noting that 2 explorers were trapped by artic ice and had to live with the Inuits and eat what they ate. At the end of the 8 months they said they felt better than normal. On returning to civilisation there was disbelief and they were forced to submit to a 1 yr test of eating only meat. Despite numerous tests during that time their health was optimal with no deficiencies. Sprt of blows your racial groups theory out of the water if 2 people of European descent show iinstant mprovement.

Oh you really need to update your research. 2 yrs ago I thought the same way as you, no longer. Polyunsaturated oils, PUFAs, are now known to be highly inflammatory and cause issues from Alzheimers to stroke and everything in between. Saturated fat is actually the healthy fat but there was more money in cheap to produce PUFAs. Scientists were bribed to hide research favourable to saturated fats or simply fluff the numbers to suit. I stopped eating that poison and in combination with a carnivore diet cured my arthritis in under 2 weeks. I went from using a stick to walk with a massively inflamed knee and having pain pulling on my gloves to running every day with my dogs. 6 weeks post oil and on full carnivore I bought a new punchbag, this from a man who had pain pulling motorcycle gloves on and thought I'd never hit a bag again. I cook with lard, butter, beef tallow and I've never looked back. What you are quoting is simply big food lies to sell their product. Big food, big pharma, big banking, we can trust them right? ???? Trying to find a home for a young dog. She has fallen victim to an older bitch wanting to kill her on site. I've seen this before, it comes out of nowhere, it's viscous, but unlike male dogs who "sort it out" and it's generally done, bitches will keep at it until the bitter end. I know it doesn't get fixed so to avoid an attack that may cause injury or worse I need to rehome this girl. The house is currently split into something resembling North and South Korea, last thing I want is to let them come to blows and poison the kid's mind against all other bitches. She's a Thai Ridgeback approximately 1yr 5 months old. She has her full papers etc, she cost 12k when purchased but is free to a good home with a garden. Currently weighs about 22 kilos. She has a good personality, guards your place without barking at every passing bike or car, generally loves people and spends her days by your feet looking for a stroke. Always been a house dog, will follow you around. She seems fine with dogs met on a walk, obviously the initial posturing and sniffing but she seems happy to play with most of the dogs we meet that are allowed out to roam by their "owners." She's not crazy for walking, happy enough to chill out around the house, in fact on a run she would be the only dog looking like she wanted to get home for a snooze! So exercise requirements are lower than most for her. Eats anything, not fussy. Don't know what else to say about her, any questions drop me a message. Dog is in Bangkok.

Ridgebacks are probably the healthiest pedigree dog on the planet at this point. It's a breed that only recently came to the attention of the dog show crowd, so damage to the breed has been minimal and the genepool is generally diverse. One can see that when looking at the variation between dogs of the breed, size, shape and colouration are all varied because they did until recently breed naturally. Different story in Europe and The UK where early imports came from a dog with defects in Eastern Europe. Puppy farmer's have a lot to answer for! I've had no issues with any of the ones I've owned, although I don't listen to local vets outside of tests I make my own dog health choices, things they have said to me regarding dogs! If you were getting a pup I'd go spend an hour with any prospective litter, they have very different personalities and traits, getting that grounded but confident pup will make training a lot easier as they are intelligent and can appear stubborn.

Females would probably be fine with him. Both males would eventually be bigger than Kev so one day they would work it out. 2 of the girls are calm and easy, 1 is somewhat spicy, although I like that in a dog. Usually means easier training and the girl will always give authority to the male dog eventually. Mocca is the spicy one and already understands basic commands, sit, stay, leave etc. Mee and Stitch (Yoda) are easy going.

You do realise dogs are carnivores right? Any green they eat they generally puke it up within minutes. Bizarre thinking. Also for humans meat is the most beneficial part of their diet, the popular myth of healthy vegetables and grains is just that, a myth. I haven't eaten a vegetable in over a year, nothing but meat, fish and diary. Never felt better in my life. My arthritis disappeared in 2 weeks, I went from pain putting gloves on and not being able to walk with the dogs, to running 2k morning and night within a month and I can now do 30 minutes on the punchbag with no rest. I can remember phone numbers again, memory and reasoning are as they were 30 yrs ago. All since I went full carnivore. Before you say "that can't be healthy long term." I have my bloodwork done at 14 months in, triglycerides 60, HDL ratio of 0.8, zero cardiac plaques. Liver, thyroid etc all optimum. That 5 fruit and veg and whole grains is old Big Food lies, they have killed hundreds of millions with that rubbish, as bad as Big Pharma. Actually the same people...

I have some Thai Ridgeback Pups looking for good homes. They are full bred TRDs so you know what you are getting. 2 males, 3 females. Only a home setting, the pups have been raised to date in our home and never caged. Looking for the same. All are house trained and vaccines to date. NO breeders! Ben: Male, strong confident pup, ready to go to the gate if any strangers pass. I'd guess his adult weight around 27 kilos. Mee: (Bear) Female. Thought she looked like a bear cub with that black face, so she got "Luak Mee" as a name. Very affectionate and full of life. Beautiful colours, black face, black socks, black tail. Balanced fit dog. I'd estimate her adult weight at 24 kilos. Mocca: Female. Affectionate, loves to climb, fearless. I'd estimate her adult weight to be a tight and wiry 22-23 kilos. Mocca has some spark in her. Smart and should be easy to train, she's very bidable. You wouldn't have a rat or a snake left alive with her around! Stitch: Female. Stitch is a little different, her tail wags up/down not side to side, looks a bit like a water pump when she's happy. Often found in her own world she is quiet and low maintenance. She doesn't appreciate references that she looks like Yoda. ???? Has a kink in her tail like a magician's wand, cute little thing, rarely barks. Stitch is not amused by Yoda comparisons!
