The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently proposed significant new vetting for tourists, particularly those from Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries, requiring applicants to submit social media handles (past 5 years),email/phone numbers (past 5-10 years),family info, and potentially biometrics (facial/fingerprints)via an ESTA app, alongside existing data, for enhanced security screening before entry, a shift from less-intensive ESTA to more-detailed vetting. This is from Google. Who in their right mind wants to visit America now. Hawaii has lost most of its Japanese tourism due to Trump administration strong arm using ICE I’d never submit that data just visit US. I don’t know for sure but I’m sure it’ll be stored in some kind of database
