Obviously you know nothing. Japanese companies do not send women overseas.

None? Not ever? Not one?

Doubt it.

Anyway, I don't care and it doesn't interest me. I'm out of here. But nice to see The Dan Sai Kid now concedes there are Japanese women here despite the fact this is Thailand and most of the women are Thai. Unreal.

Have you tried Japan? Most of them tend to live there. You see, this is Thailand - most ladies here are Thai.
Sorry, but I've just got to say that is probably the most stupid answer I've come across lately. You are an idiot.

leave your sence of humour at home dozy?

Finding Japanese birds is not exactly rocket science is it?

Most of the ones on holiday are at destinations like phuket etc.Close to the sea. They normally out in packs of 3-5 at a time. Many tours etc , all stay at the same hotels.Find the hotels and you find the birds.

next! :o

Generally, why would a single Japanese woman come to Bangkok?

Ummm...her job? With an international company? A Japanese company? Do you think only men are expats and the only women here are wives and teachers?

Obviously you know nothing. Japanese companies do not send women overseas.

that would make two then.

The japanese co my wife works for had female staff sent from japan and same with another i know where my friends japanese wife works

How on earth did you come up with that personal profile statement?

One of my mates got so drunk that he shat himself in the back seat of a taxi on the way home. Not so hard to do in Thailand.

classic mate. :D :D :D:o:D

i think your question is very valid my friend.

some of the japanese girls are drop dead gorgeous and are very friendly as well.

can be a bit of hard work with the language barrier but most of the travellers have got a handle on it.

cant be a better place to start than the good old koh san road as every jap backpacker heads here at some time of there trip.

just hang around there for a week or so and you shall be well rewarded if you are prepared to put the work in.

cheers :o

PS let me know how you go. :D

In that case, Baz, I stand corrected. I have worked with a lot of Japanese firms here and only met one Japanese woman working here and she was a local hire. I have been informed that is a standard policy for Japanese firms not to expatriate female staff. However you have direct experience to the opposite.

In either case, the number of Japanese female expats working in Bangkok must be outnumbered by the male Japanese expats at least 100:1.

Feel the need to win all the time do we....just admit you was wrong and leave it be at that.

Some Japanese are cute, but a lot more thais are cuter and if you go to the right bar in Bkk, many girls are trained to look japanese and make the correct noises at the correct times, even the wrong times.

i think you would have to concentrate on the married ones, shoudlnt be too difficult as their men are either working, golfing or at the karaoke. Try picking them up at the shopping centres, easier if you pick the ones without the kids!!

He just said he was wrong, what more do you want him to do?

As for the Japanese girls, I dont live in Bangkok but I used years ago. Aren't there bars in soi Thanaya (just drinking bars orientated for the Japanese market) not male escort style bars. I might be wrong but I thought there are a couple of drinking bars aswell. If there are I think you will find they can be very expensive!

My Japanese colleague says that Jap girls don't hang out anywhere in particular, they like to go everywhere. He seems to think your question is strange cos there should be a lot of Jap girls at your uni. However, he did say that clubs along Ratchadapisek are popular as is RCA.

Tell you what lads, some of your responses to this question have been so funny. So clever too! Can I suggest a hobby for those with nothing else to do. Japanese girls in Japan eh? Wow, that is a new one, I'll have to remember that.

Have had some success at KSR in the past but there seems to be a real shortage down there at the moment. I guess that should change around June according to Jonson83.

Uni's over for me now but you are right there were many jap girls there, however they were all at least 15 years older than me :D

My guess would be to try and fing Japanese guest houses.. (there are plenty) in and around BKK. They advertise on Japanese websites. Most guest houses have bars in them and they will never stop someone wanting to go in and have a quiet beer. Thy might not like you shagging their guests but that is a different story.

Give it a go. :o
