Example of cancellation letter to Immigration!!!

My former coworker just contacted me asking for a cancellation letter to Immigration as he is changing schools. The head of the department, who usually does all the documents is on her holiday and the secretary do not know what to write, so I wounder if anyone has an example of cancellation letter to share as an example for her? I have tried google first but I can not find any examples of cancellation letters to immigration there.

To cancel the visa?

Not needed the visa is normally automatically canceled at the last day of employment or at the day the visa expires.

All that is required is a simple letter stated the date when employment ceased.
