Anybody know if you can grow the buddha's hand citron - Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddha's_hand - in Thailand and if so where you could buy a tree from?

 

Wife picked a fruit up in China last week and is raving about it, but says she has never seen them here.

 

I'm wondering if growing one is the way to get some.

There is a guy at the Wed. plant market at Chatuchak who sells lots of citrus varieties. I think I saw one there a couple of weeks ago, but was mainly looking at all the lemon varieties. Phone number on the plant labels was 0823592392, or 0933255149 . They also had a Facebook page but I seem to have mislaid that info.

Just remembered, I read and saved the QR code on the label ....it is ruanmaigarden on facebook.
