Sanook reported that a joint operation of the Department of Special Investigations, tech police, The National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission and other agencies raided 19 locations throughout Thailand yesterday.

A force of 120 officers visited addresses in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Suphanburi, Chiang Mai and Lampang.

The raids were conducted after complaints of illegal streaming of English Premiership Football, movies and pornographic films.

Losses are put at 4 billion baht with 25 million people watching movies on various websites per month.

The main website was sakkarinsai8.com that was streaming to doo4k.tv and movie2free and big.app.tv.

The operation HQ was in a house in Rachada Soi 36 in Bangkok from where signals were sent. These included Thai Channels 3,5,7 and 9 and Sky Sports.
