True, lots of Turkish, Greek and Italian immigrants. One of the most successful economies in the world wouldn’t have been possible without the helping hand of immigrants. Food for thought.

The US of course helped... they helped the UK as well.  Yes, the Allies gave Germany it's freedom by pounding it into the ground... and carving it up into sectors... and not colonizing it like they did other nations and then drawing silly lines and pitting different factions against each other in the same way as they did in the past.

 

What we did, we did out of necessity -- for our own self-interest and for our own self protection -- not as some gift to Germany (it was a byproduct of creating a stable situation against a now adversarial Soviet Union).

Mostly Turkish immigrants.
