wgdanson
Forgive me for seeming thick, but I see ads on UK TV for 'Self-Charging Hybrid Cars' Is the whole idea of a hybrid that the IC engine charges up on-board batteries which can then power the vehicle electrically. So are ALL hybrids not Self-Charging?
Kwasaki
Don't to bel7eve me google 3 secs. ???? Hybrid Cars Once the battery has been depleted, the vehicle can slip back to being a regular fuel-fed hybrid and recharge its batteries using the gasoline-powered motor as a generator. The big difference here is that you can also plug it in and recharge the electric motor instead of using the engine to charge it up.
